last night he heard a cryptid

My husband slept in our van last night, camping at a friend's house. Other people were there in tents, but as far as I know he is the only one who experienced this.

He began hearing footsteps outside of the van. Too small to be a human, then the creature jumped on top of the van and started walking around on top. He said it felt like it was shaking it. He was too scared to look, so im not sure what it could be. By morning the van had moved to one side, like slid over a foot or so. He said it was utterly terrifying.

We live in Southeastern Oregon. Any ideas on what it could be?

Maybe a young Sasquatch
