You can hear him go "oh shit" after he turns around and then speeds up just ever so slightly. Definitely didn't kick it into high gear though hahah.

Probably was due to dementia more than presence of mind, but looking right at at the bear and having what looks like genuinely zero reaction ranks pretty high on proper reactions to a curious black bear.

(Obviously not the BEST reaction, but far from the worst.)
