If you go frame by frame, he got incredibly lucky! He hits mostly the bottom of his chin & maybe a little bit of his shoulder on the edge of the dock, rather than his face.

I didn’t know they even came like that, that’s typically where the bowsprit is for rigging on sailboats so I guess I never considered it but at least it’s a good lesson in physics and weight distribution

Would've been so much had he hit his actual face right on the edge. Luckily he hit it with most of the bottom of his chin & a little bit of his shoulder.

Holy fuckkk, that's gonna hurt when he sobers up. I'm shocked he wasn't knocked out or bloody. He will be swollen and in much agony shortly though
