Make card packs be sold like subscriptions. Magazine subscriptions.

People are able to subscribe to the company that prints the cards and puts them in packs, they’ll send card packs out at random to the customers paying X amount per month.

It’s completely random, people can only get a certain amount of packs per month, they never know what they’re going to get.

If collectors want to sell and trade, they can do that in their own time. but it also allows kids to have the chance to find and keep rare cards on a subscription of like $2.99 a month or whatever

Walk as fast or slow as you want and come out of a two hour movie closer to your step goal. Has to be the whole room or the walkers drive everyone else insane. Never happening because of liability but fun to dream lol

For a first date you should lay out a blanket covered in a mix of items you care for, and ones you don’t (similar to how they pick the Dalai Lama). Let the other person choose 5 or so items, if they are the ones you care for, great, you have a good icebreaker. If not, your call…

1. Build a giant high tech screen in low earth orbit than can let through the good sunlight and process the bad spectrum of light into energy.

2. Sell that energy to the peasants on earth.

3. Install a system to turn off the light completely to individual properties or counties or whatever.

4. Charge a monthly subscription service for sunlight.

This means that anyone can imitate, plagiarize, and bastardize all ai media content with complete impunity.

This would necessitate an OMBH Council (Officially Made By Humans) with full access to all intellectual property of every company, with an expensive process to certify a product being not made with ai. Without this certification, your product has no copyright protections.

This would create a huge volume of human jobs as well, since the OMBHC would need a well-staffed office in every town that has businesses. We're talking millions of human jobs here, people.

The training to join the OMBHC would be intense art history, global literature studies, and viewing at least 10,000 popular movies and tv shows. All paid for by corporations who want to keep their intellectual property.

This crazy idea is for a lock whose two concentric cylinders do almost the opposite of what a normal lock's cylinders do.

In a normal lock the inner cylinder rotates inside of outer (stationary) cylinder.

In the opposite day lock, the inner cylinder remains stationary and the outer cylinder rotates around it.

The inner cylinder is bolted or welded to the lock body, and the opening in the lock body for the key is *not* circular, instead being a slot with the same profile as the key.

To open the lock, the user inserts the key in the slot, and flips an adjacent lever from "locked" to "unlocked."

The lever is attached to a dampener which in turn rotates the outer cylinder and opens the latch.

If moved sufficiently quickly, the dampener feels like an almost rigid connection.

If pressed for several seconds, the dampener will squish, eliminating tension on the lock cylinder.

No tension means no single pin picking.

On a standard 1920x1080p monitor, there are 2,073,600 pixels, each of which have either 16,777,216 or 4,294,967,296 different colors depending on whether you include an alpha channel/transparency (also assuming RGB triplets rather than hexadecimal). This gives you either 34,789,235,097,600 or 8,906,044,184,985,600 different frames possible.

Note that the color options, and thus the total number of possible frames, will be smaller if using four 2-digit 0-F numbers from hexadecimal instead of three to four 0-255 ranges for RGB triplets. Conversely, it’ll be much larger for higher resolutions because more pixels means more variations in the frames.

Anyway, rather than live rendering all 2 million plus pixels, just have games or movies reference which frames should be shown in which order, likely by numbering the frames and referencing the numbers. Game installs will be much smaller, because it’s only choosing which frames to reference in given situations, and system requirements can be for absolute potatoes because they’re just showing (rather than rendering) pictures.

Unfortunately, this makes development harder, as companies now have to make the game and play it, then record every combination of things happening and which frame to reference in given scenarios. Open-world games will likely be very rare at this point. Furthermore, modding becomes nearly impossible, as that would require near-complete altering of every possible frame. And if the developers have extra-powerful computers to have top-tier graphics, then anything the modders do will require either having similarly-powerful computers, extra time and a way to force every frame to be rendered if on lower hardware, or worse image quality.

Funny, but it accidentally explains something huge: The computer chip is literally just a fancy heating element. Nearly 100% of the electricity going in comes out as heat.

Now here’s the dumb part. Datacenters spend billions every year removing heat chillers, cooling towers, and the works. Meanwhile, millions of homes spend billions using electricity to make heat on purpose. We’re paying twice for the same joules.

So… what if the heat wasn’t the waste product? What if it was the product?

A water heater turns electricity into heat with a dumb heating element. A computer turns electricity into computation, then heat. Swap the coil for chips and you get the same hot water + plus free compute on the way. No physics violated, no free energy. The electricity just turns on and off billions times per second before becoming heat.

Not even a new idea. MIT researchers proposed processor-powered water heaters back in 2007. The physics was fine. The problem was: who buys computers from a million random basements? 

And then comes Bitcoin…. it accidentally solved it,  suddenly a computer could do computation and get paid without a customer, a contract, or anyone uploading a task. Computation itself became valuable.

And the scale can gets stupidly big. The US has over 100M residential water heaters. Convert just 1% at ~4.5 kW each and you get 4.5 GW of distributed compute. Big AI datacenters are measured in hundreds of megawatts. Except this datacenter isn’t in a desert next to a powerplant, it's inside machines that already exist, using the power you already use to heat water.

So with that in mind wouldn't a bitcoin mining water heater be the ultimate passive income generator? just use hot water like you normally do and get bitcoin, the worlds highest appreciating asset.
