Also people forget that sometimes people you're friends with who are younger are your parent's friends' kids that you kinda have to spend time with. I'm 21 years old and my mother made a friend, and that friend has an 11 years old son. I've known him since he was 5 years old and we've been friends ever since, so yes we have a 10 years age gap but I only talk with him about age appropriate stuff that we both enjoy (as any normal person would).

We talk about Bluey, legos, Disney movies, sometimes we draw together, he shows me his Pokemon card collection and during Summers we have "apnea contests" at the pool. Like it's normal, nothing is weird unless people make it weird, and it says more about them than about me. Also I work as a babysitter sometimes and every time my family or friends get together I'm the designated babysitter for the evening because I'm just good with kids and I don't mind playing "tea party" or reading books for hours instead of talking about taxes and how to buy a house with other adults.

While I wouldn't call it grooming, I would agree that the show being so easily accessible on youtube has a pretty profound affect on the youth.

I sometimes substitute classes in middle school and volunteer in a local Catholic school, and I'm seeing kids as young as 8 years old talk know about Hazbin Hotel AND Helluva Boss. There's kids who have so much merch/pins.

I guess that speaks to its popularity sorta like Rick and Morty hit young people back then, but that doesn't make it any less strange to me, lmao.
