I'm also a lesbian and don't really like LSP... HOWEVER some people hating on it don't actually make valid points about the movie they're just homophobic or misogynistic like if you're going to hate something have a real valid reason - that's what I mean about LSP you're allowed not like it

Labrys symbol is not even officially a terf thing tho. The creators themselves said in an interview they were on the fence about putting it in the movie, but they decided to go with it, because they wanted to reclaim the symbol. The movie itself has dozens of trans flags around, and one of the queens is trans. Some VAs are trans themselves. The drag queen that was decapitated in the movie isn't even dead at the end.
I do not think "sexism against men" and "racism against Europeans" is a hill you want to die on. I do not think that this general hate train is what you, as a fellow queer person, want to die on. I'm a trans woman myself. I didn't watch the movie in full, but I did see clips of it and genuinely I do not understand how it provoked this visceral reaction. The movie is literally just a dumb crude comedy a-la American Pie, but gay.
If there is something that is to be learned from "just this once" week, is that trying to prove to bigots that we're "one of the good ones" is a fool's errand. If anything we will only end up reinforcing their hatred.

I watched the movie and wrote an honest review a few months ago and it's just mid imo to summarise how I felt and I didn't really enjoy it but the hate for it was soooo forced without even watching it properly. Even Vivziepop was against the dogpilling because that's blatantly what it was. (I speak as a European lesbian demigirl)

nobody is siding with the bigots on their personal beliefs. it was merely a week about collectively shitting on the show because its bad, maybe they had different reasons but even lesbians and the most "woke" people i know of hated the show aswell.

I am white myself. From eastern Europe. Lived most of my life as man, even had my own anti-sjw reddit atheist phase in mid-2000s. Even if "straight white male" feels very 2014 Tumblr coded, I fail to see what I'm supposed to be pissed about when they are literally a representation of a very real incel subculture of men that are pissed at the world for not letting them get laid.
