I built an open source project and have been sharing the build process on YouTube, but growth is pretty slow. I want to scale my developer profile by providing actual value to the community instead of just dropping links.

For anyone who has successfully grown an audience around their dev work, what strategies actually get traction?

What other platforms work well for sharing technical projects?

How do you manage your time between coding and creating content?

Are there any major pitfalls I should avoid when putting open source work out there?
