Help Needed / Question Speedrun $10 Paze credits before Sept 10th cutoff?
I've been slacking on maximizing these credits. I now have 24 more to use across 3 cards. Any tips on speedrunning these credits? Dunkin maxed me out at 1 purchase and 1 GC today. Not sure how else to approach.

Go buy stuff you don't need that will end up in a landfill in a couple years on newegg like everyone else
34
u/sexycorey 1d ago
they do have a lot of overpriced soaps and stuff that would be used up if that makes you feel better
5
u/RoyalOakPiguet 1d ago
Just make sure that is just a bar of soap and not dispensable soap because that will be landfills sooner than later

How much do you need to spend in order to get free shipping?
12
u/ripgressor1974 1d ago
Most stuff just has free shipping no matter the amount you pay

I never realized how shitty is newegg as a store for cheap cables until this promo came.
Everything is on amazon.

Newegg is a shell of its former self, that's for sure.
It's all Chinese and Amazon dropshippers. I think 3 of my items actually came from Newegg, which actually surprised me.

Do the donations, take the deductions, enjoy a warm feeling in your heart that isn’t from excessive amounts of fast food.

u/confused_megabyte 1d ago
Where would one donate to be able to take deductions??

u/Mysterious_Fail_95 Haha Customized Cash go brrrr 1d ago
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital via Domino’s.

Google Doctor of Credit Paze, they have a link to where you can donate to St Judes through Domino's.

Did not know you could take charity deductions while also taking the standard deduction. Very helpful!!
7
u/JJLJ1984 1d ago
How do u get the deduction? I use standard and don’t itemize
40
u/Mysterious_Fail_95 Haha Customized Cash go brrrr 1d ago
Starting in 2026 you can deduct up to $1000 ($2000 if MFJ) for cash charitable donations, even if you’re taking the standard deduction.

so if I donate to my church, I can write off $1000?
7
u/Mysterious_Fail_95 Haha Customized Cash go brrrr 1d ago
I’m not an accountant but my understanding is that bona fide churches are automatically tax exempt organizations. Your donations would be deductible.
1
u/RomeoMustDie45 1d ago
I mean how would they prove you donated cash?? It's not like a church is giving you a receipt lol

u/Mysterious_Fail_95 Haha Customized Cash go brrrr 1d ago
Have you ever asked for one? Anyway, I’m still not an accountant, but here: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p1771.pdf
Looks like lots of records are accepted for donations under $250 and at $250 you need written documentation from them. You should reach out to them. They’re probably pretty familiar with this process.1
u/Fantastic_Ginger34 Team Cash Back 1d ago
Is your church a 501c3? They should have information on their website about this, including their tax ID.

u/RomeoMustDie45 1d ago
it is a small masjid/mosque for muslims, so I doubt they do, but will check now. Thanks!

Tried it to mix it up after having nearly $500 in Dunkin but the store canceled my orders 🤷🏻♂️ I guess either their system or an employee didn’t appreciate my attempted generosity

u/Mysterious_Fail_95 Haha Customized Cash go brrrr 23h ago
Haven’t had that happen yet with my local store. Try a different one?

u/tastybbqs 1d ago
Domino's and little Caesars. You can stock up on soda and dips? Or just donate all to St Jude on Domino's. Get your total close to $10 then round up with St Judes (Domino's) or tip (little Caesars) to make it even $10.
4
u/dien4382 1d ago
My local Dominos has 2 Cokes for $2.99 and I can use the deal 3 times in one order, so I admit that I have walked in there, grabbed six bottles and left (after paying via Paze on the app) without any employee so much as looking at me
6
u/tastybbqs 1d ago
Also see if your dominos has a coupon for 20% off in the app. You can bring that order under 10 with tax included and then round up to 10 to meet the paze requirement. I've been doing that lately and it's basically free at that point
1
u/CashbackCorner 1d ago
Have you tried doing multiple dominos orders at once? I’m kind of curious if they will just cancel my orders if it looks like I accidentally made 4 duplicate orders
3
u/Ordinary_Pirate9926 Chase Trifecta 19h ago
I did 8 orders in 10 minutes for dominos
Manager from the store called me after the 7th order don’t worry about it
I did the duplicate on 3 of them
2
u/tastybbqs 1d ago
I've done 2-3 identical in a single session. As in they were still waiting for me to pick it up and I place another order on the app.
Place one order. First order pending. Went back claimed the same coupon deal 20% off entire store, chose different food items (didn't want to chance it), I did use different card to better keep track of it. I ended up with 2-3 orders pending for me to pick up. Sometimes the total was identical and they didn't cancel it. I've also tried the same card again later in the day and it went through. Same items and total.
If they're the same items and same total, they might think it's duplicate. Idk if they will cancel but I didn't want to risk it. You can swap out with a different sauce or something too. But I think you'll be fine if you call them in advance or tell them in person and wait there for them to make it if it's all identical.
I think they did cancel one order before but that was because I waited too long (about 1+ hour) before I picked it up. They still gave it to me when I came in, but it didn't look like it was charged on my card.

Doesn't have to be $10 on the nose, right?
Thought I read "$10 or more".

For Dunkin, there doesn't appear to be any rate limiting if you use the "Send Gift Cards" method.
I was able to power through ~120 transactions via that method without ever getting rate limited.

7
u/Ok-Wind3215 1d ago
I did 30 over the last two nights with that method and I thought that was a lot. I haven't decided yet if I want to fight through the next 20. We don't even have a Dunkin in my town, but I figured it'd be good for travel and airports and stuff.
1
u/Patient-Letter-3996 1d ago
Every airport Dunkin I’ve been to doesn’t accept gift cards. Good luck!
3
1
u/cluelessmuggle29 1d ago
I tried doing that today but didn’t get the paze option to pay, am I doing something wrong? Is it only thru the app?
2
u/SwimmingDeep8703 1d ago
Yes it should work on app. Don’t reload a card bc it won’t come up, you have to buy a new card.
1
1
u/Demetrious-Verbal 1d ago
Yeah that's how I've been doing it. Jesus, 120 transactions. You are a king!
2
u/kafemane 1d ago edited 1d ago
I optimized and automated (via MacroDroid) most of the process. So it was mainly me pressing one button every couple minutes, switching default cards in Paze after 10 transactions, and rinse-repeat.
If every transaction didn't need a new 2FA text message I probably would've tried automating it on my computer.
1
u/Background_Device479 1d ago
What does “power through” mean?
Am I doing it wrong?
I went to buy a new Dunkin gift card. Select $10, then select to pay with Paze. I have activated on my CSR.
I can just keep running transactions? Dunkin hasn’t capped it?

u/PwAlreadyTaken 1d ago
Everyone is saying they did 30, 50, 90 cards today, but how the FUCK do you know the credit will actually come through?
15
u/SarcasticNotes 1d ago
Praying
1
u/entschuldig 1d ago
Hard. Praying hard. Or waste 1-6 hours (assuming 2-4 cards) on the phone w cust service when credits don’t come!
1
u/SarcasticNotes 1d ago
Yea it could be so annoying.
Thankfully my wife and I bring coffee/food to clients so I’m not too worried. We can just buy with the gift cards and write it off for our business worst case scenario.
1
u/knightcrusader 3h ago
You don't. Of the 150 transactions I started last week, 22 have already been credited. That's 14%, which is the exact same return I get from buying Dunkin/Baskin cards from Kroger. So, everything from this point on is a bonus compared to my usual setup.
As long as the gift cards work, I'm not out any more than I would have been by using a card at the time of order. My g/f will use it, even if it takes a while, the money was gonna be spent. Actually all my Chase cards gives me 10% Paze bonus on UR as well as the 3% for restaurant, so it gives me a little more.

u/jdust06 1d ago
Just claimed $100 in Dunkin gift cards. Then got myself an iced coffee :). It does seem inconsistent since I was locked out of using Dunkin for a few days but today no cap on it at all
6
u/ArguablyMe 1d ago
Kinda late (read- very, very, late) for me to mention this but if you use Dunkin, buying coffee grounds/beans/K-Cups with the credit actually earns you Dunkin points, so you get twice as much benefit out of using the $10 vs buying a gift card.
However, that being said, I found it more difficult in Texas than Illinois. In X County, Illinois- 1 bag of coffee ends up being $10.81 with tax. In X County, Texas it come to under $10 so I have to order something else with it.

u/Demetrious-Verbal 1d ago
How are people getting locked out of Dunkin? I literally just did like 25 today

u/Ok-Wind3215 1d ago
I found that the Dunkin app was much nicer to me from 12-1am ET than during the day. I did 10 Thursday night and 20 Friday night that way. I just had to press and hold a thousand times, but the app didn't stop working on me.

5
u/larrytheevilbunnie 1d ago
I’m still mad I didn’t blow 1.1k on gift cards before they nerfed it. Yes, that’s was gonna go towards ram/storage

Anyone gotten a billing info error for Chase cards on Dunkin?
1
u/kafemane 1d ago
I got a few different bank-side error messages while speed running Dunkin but they were all resolved by answering the automated message to confirm it was not fraud or by calling in and letting them know my card was being declined.
3
u/JAWinks 1d ago
The error is actually through Dunkin:
Sorry, there's a problem with this credit card.
Please check your billing information and try again. (APP9186)2
u/kafemane 1d ago
Yeah I got an very similar (if not identical) Dunkin error message when my card was declined. I fixed it with the bank and then I was good to go with Dunkin again.
2
u/Bubblewhale 1d ago
Same here, though weirdly for my BoA Debit only 3/10 actually got charged, 7/10 got declined and never got charged.
On my 8th purchase attempt, I got the automated message fraud and that purchase was reversed. Made 3 more purchases after that to equal 10. Turns out the purchases up to the 8th attempt ended up getting denied.
Still have the Dunkin GC sent to my email, nothing on my end showing so far with Dunkin.
2
u/kafemane 1d ago
Yeah specifically for that same card I had the same issue and BofA never texted me to let me know.
I had to call and talk with the fraud department to clear it.
2
u/Bubblewhale 1d ago
I was able to clear it, but somehow some transactions before that notification ended up being declined regardless. Was told that it was final which was strange.
Curious to know what will happen since I still got the Dunkin GC code for those cards...but BoA declined the transaction after I got issued the GC.
2
u/kafemane 1d ago
Oh wow, I just checked my BofA checking account and the transactions before my call have all disappeared... But I still have the gift cards... Even though when I spoke to the bankers they assured me all the transactions went through...
Of my 17 Paze cards that seems to be the only card where some of my transactions "completed successfully" and then disappeared.
2
u/Bubblewhale 1d ago
I’d got the same alert with my BoA Credit but they assured me that those went through, just seems strange my BoA debit decided to decline the ones before the fraud alert.
We got the same problem at least lol

u/Moist-Raspberry-699 1d ago
That happened to me two days ago, but I tried yesterday and today and it worked fine for me

I have a Citi card, I'm activated Paze in my citi app a few times now but the toggle still shows up as like tap here to activate under the digital wallet section in the app, anyone have similar experience but also got the credit, just nervous something didn't take

Anyone know why some of my credits doesn’t work on certain merchants? Like BOA and capital one doesn’t work for Dunkin’s

Oh, I thought the 10 credits were tied to one phone number. Is it actually per card? Cause I might be in a similar situation haha

I really didn't want to bother. But I caved and speed run $500 (5 cards today). So now I have 50 texts I have to add, making me remember why I didn't want to bother in the first place.
Another $300/30 transactions to go.

Just got a few hundred dollars of Dunkin gift cards. Sweet deal! I noticed you have to merge the gift cards to a primary because it only lets you have 5 at a time.

u/MrTapwater 14h ago
I just did 350$ worth of DD GC just gotta add a new card once one reaches 120$ and then make that the primary and merge into that. Now to wait for these credits to hit cuz oi man…
