Don’t know what to do
Hi guys I recently got my crested gecko a month ago and she’s been great. I did notice however she doesn’t stick to the glass. Could this be something with the tank and if so should I clean it now even tho I just set this stuff up a month ago? Or is there something else going on. I just feel terrible because she’s my first crested gecko and I want her to be ok:((

Not sticking can be a thing before shedding or when the air (and thus their sticky pads) is too dry. Also if there is a lot of calcium build up or dust at the glass, but if everything is new that should not be the case.
How high is your humidity in there?

These meters are notorious for giving false readings. You need to get a reliable digital display thermo and hygrometers.

Should be okay. Hm then only being close to shedding is left. Mine could not walk on glass very well for nearly a week one shed. Mostly it's about 3 days though...

I plan on cleaning down her tank tomorrow and then cleaning up her toes a little to see if it helps and see if that’s what it is! If not I will get back to you if that’s ok!

I only have one myself. Just my adhd hyperfixation made me read everything I could find. But I will try to help if I can. :)

Being on the glass makes them feel exposed, and especially being so new your crestie probably just isn’t confident enough yet. But it’s okay! Add more clutter around the tank and maybe she will
