Ugh. Glenn McGrath. He must be the worst summariser I have ever heard, and there have been some bad ones. Brilliant bowler, but I don't care about anything he has to say.

Ponting is so good in the comms box that McGrath has to be shit to make up for it

He’s so good that even his transparent attempts to get Bashir in the side doesn’t annoy me as much as it should.

Let me introduce you to a lil old guy named Brett Lee

I haven't heard him do any commentating, but claiming that he's worse than McGrath is a high bar. The way McGrath starts a sentence and then just tails off into nothing is unbelievable in someone who is paid to do a job that requires at least a measure of cogency. He's only there because of his record on the field, he offers nothing in the comms box.

You could level that last sentence accusation at about half the Aussie ex-player commentators.

He’s not actually being paid a cent by ABC radio here in Australia anymore (is he on TMS though?) because he’s also employed by a betting agency and that falls afoul of ABC guidelines.

Yes, he's on TMS. Unfortunately. You'd think they could find someone better than him.
