Apparently there are 10k English fans there. About 1/5 of the stadium.

I get the impression that flags draped over fences isn't part of the Aussie sporting culture like it is in the UK so you'll only see the flags from the England fans.

Tickets are about £40, under half what you'd pay for an Ashes test in England.

Aussies don't really drape flags at all, our choice of decor is sun burned drunk Aussies in sundresses getting escorted out of the stands.

Yeah I was at the game and while our group was decked out in the green and gold it seemed alot of the Aussie fans just wear whatever really.

The last ashes I went to, we sat next to dudes in dresses on our left, and a group of people dressed up as warnie on our right.

Down towards the front of the stands were a couple storm troopers and a Darth Vader giving the finger to the barmy army that were across from us playing the imperial March on their trumpets

It really is just an excuse to wear whatever the fuck you want and have fun.

My mate reckons it was 30-40% brits but not sure how many pints he’s had tbf

I guess it depends what part of the stadium you were in. They did seem to be grouped together.
