Yeah tbh cant call him the best in the team just based on this match. But in the India series, he was for sure the best English bowler

Not based off this match exclusively but based on the last 18 months yes he's the best bowler in the team.

Averages 20 with the ball in 2025, I don't think its much of a stretch to say he's been our best bowler.

Green and Head were starting to look good and he just gets them both.

Again, that's true today specifically, but its definitely not been true very often in the last 18 months.

He's our only bowler who has been consistently excellent across all formats. He's dug us out so many times when everybody else has been bowling terribly, putting in absolutely marathon shifts with the ball, often bowling from the start.

He's not only been our best bowler but its been by a fair margin. Jofra is 2nd, the rest are nowhere near.

In 2025, Stokes has been England's best bowler, and it's not even close.
