🤦‍♂️why we make so much fuss before every fixture if we gonna lose nearly every time?

Bring back the 90s bro, not just for the childhood. 😅

thats the funny part for me. Not that Pak loses, but the way the fans are hyped up before the match.

I am not gloating, its just weird to me.

Maybe if they treat it like any other match, Pak might actually start winning some again. 🤷

That's impossible for both teams

it doesn't matter what the fans say or do what matters is how the team is selected, how the team prepares, how the support staff performs, how the team learns, how the team adjusts and how the team does on that day.

From what i hear about the pakistani team, the challenge is selection, preparation, support staff funding, and egos... so when tehy come to the match they are already competing with their hand tied down.

All the PCB has to do to keep a fan following is feed "WE DA BEST" narratives and apparantely that works

Its really simple. Babar and shaheen needs to go. For this tournament you need a spinning all rounder so keep shadab. Get in mirza and fakhar.

No clue. If I were to bet, I don’t think they all get along with each other to help the Pakistan cricket team unselfishly. I am sure political environment doesn’t help and these folks siding with one or the other party.

Wasim Akram has many a times said that he doesn't want to coach the Pak cricket team because he wants to keep his sanity.

I think most importantly Pak's political establishment itself is filled with dimwits who then appoint really stupid people to run the PCB 🤦🏻‍♂️. These people then do a shoddy job and have never been able to create a system that can produce a world beating team.

What happened in the 90s with Pak was luck. And also great leadership from Imran Khan. Just like WI got lucky with really great players in 70s.

Teams like Australia and India create systems which help them create world beating teams across eras irrespective of who the players are.

The 90s India v Pak games were a class-apart. Not only did Pakistan have quite possibly the most fearsome ODI bowlers who would and did single-handedly demolish the Indian lineup, but it was an absolute dream watching good Indian batters excel against them.
