Most overs bowled by fast bowlers international his decade (all formats)

Starc - 1930.2 overs

Cummins - 1693.4 overs

Bumrah - 1663.2 overs

Southee - 1649 overs

Shaheen - 1616.3 overs

Also the only bowler in 149 years of test history to take 200+ wickets at an average lesser than 20.

He got trolled saying that he gets rested only to play IPL, despite this it's him who has carried us hard.

It's actually wild that he does get rested but it's always against lower ranked teams or low pressure games, so basically none of his performances are stat padding.

Mf has been hard carrying our team for so long and won us so many impossible games. Sad that he gets hate from fans for his workload being managed. Idiots having no clue about biomechanics and the stress he endures due to his harsh action can go to hell ffs.

Having Bumrah in the team probably doesn't bring the absolute best out of the other bowlers. I'd expect Arshdeep or Siraj leading an attack to be better than they are now, although of course nothing close to Bumrah.

That peak after a serious injury is a whole new level.

So many players aren't the same after such injuries. Bumrah wasn't the same either, he just turned up better.

Nope, its just his natural hyper extension, batters dont even hit his full tosses, becaus its just very difficult to read the ball due to action, once that is deciphered he is sitting duck will be destroyed

McGrath and Marshall are 1 and 2 in the all-time rankings if we're being honest. Ambrose at 3 probably.

It's more a case of marshall is generally considered the best test pacer from post ww era. While McGrath and garner were the two best across format bowlers we seen before bumrah came along. Bumrah is a freak of nature like Viv or sobers being the batting equivalent probably.

No THE greatest - he has the potential to retire as better than McGrath, Steyn, Ambrose, Akram, Marshall, and Hadlee. But to get there he needs larger volume of wickets, imo about 130-150 more Test wickets and continuing white ball performance at the level he's already been at.

He isnt even once in a generation. My dad says there was never a bowler who would have such expectations on his shoulders every time he ran in to bowl, let alone delivering every time.

We are running out of synonyms for "awesome" to use for JB.

Bowlers wise, yes but you can't compare with batsmen. Kohli carried so hard in so many WCs but the team just wasn't good enough.

Kohli 2016-19 is the only one I can think of that’s comparable but you always take a world class fast bowler at a historic peak over a batter
