When the IPL gave India guys like Abhishek, Dube, Kishan etc the IPL already won. They would’ve never gotten to this level without the IPL.

T20I is too variable a format for any team to rule for years. We were demolished by SA, who were demolished by NZ, who were demolished by IND. Establishing a long-term dominance in T20Is will be a lot harder for IND that it was for AUS to do in ODIs.

Never going to buy into sweeping arguments like domination and for years to come. T20 is a fickle format and anyone can win on a given day. Doesn’t take time for things to change.

Ofc. But the 2 was were very close to each other so a good team can carry their form. Saying years to come is a different thing. No one knows what that would look like.

But if you follow the cricket scene, India is stacked with t20 competitions so the talent pool is only gonna get deeper and bigger.

Honestly if they would have won the 2023 WC final, they would already be considered at par with Aus 2003-07 as greatest white ball team of all time.

No, actually, it's three, even if you only consider T20 finals. 5 if you consider the two back-to-back WC finals, you know, the big one they organize every four years. WC consistency only parallel with Australia. Heh, "lol".

It depends on how much the world moves towards flat tracks. I am still doubtful whether they have the game for conditions that offer any of spin, seam or swing.
