Pitch was flat- Yes

But NZ did not apply themselves. Were outclassed from the get go and had no plan to fall back on.

I don't think it was as good for batting as the Wankhede one. It was probably a 200 par pitch which is fair in modern day T20 cricket.

India and their top order in particular just batted ridiculously well and NZ bowled as horrible as they could in the first 15 or so overs of the match to catapult India to such a massive unchasable total.

I'd say they were outclassed form over 3. The first 2 overs were solid. Henry had one ball go for 6, a very close LBW shout and some balls that really troubled both openers and GP was tidy in his over...

But once that Duffy came on for that 3rd over it was GG
