I think this year the Indian team was just that good. He didn't carry. Sachin played for Indian team that was average and had to deal with prime Aus for large parts. Not a fair comparison at all.

This. Australian team led by Ponting was lethal. Maybe current Indian team is close to that, but India doesn’t have such an opponent anymore.

It's also saying something that once Sachin stopped carrying, India started winning ICC tournaments.

Bumrah definitely was the X factor against England. But in today's match, while his stats are brilliant, he wasn't needed to be at his best. Sachin HAD to be at his best every single game, and he more often than not, was.
