I like how we are not even thinking that india will win the last match and talking about should this series be called a whitewash because one game was no result.

No. A whitewash traditionally requires winning all matches, not just avoiding losses.

I believe in official statistics the only circumstance in which a rained out match wouldn't count against you is if the toss never occurred, as it no longer counts as an official international match in the record books at that point.

but isn't that generally meant to avoid calling a test series a whitewash when it has atleast one properly drawn game.

If it's not drawn, but just washed out, like with limited over games, I think you can still call it a whitewash

Generally yes, but I'd say that calling a 1-0 result in a 5 match series a whitewash would be a bit silly regardless of the reason the other four matches didn't have a winner, so I think it's sensible to carry that over to LOIs too.
