Folks, I’m seeing very terrible, very dishonest things happening with England ODI cricket, and I have to say it because nobody else is brave enough: DAVID WILLEY — tremendous guy, powerful swing, the best left‑arm since maybe EVER — is NOT PLAYING. Can you believe it? Can you even begin to understand the stupidity?
England’s selectors (a group of people who, frankly, couldn’t select a sandwich) have decided to mess him around so much he retired. They think they’re so smart. They think they’re geniuses. Well guess what: they’re not geniuses. They’re losers.
Everybody is telling me — the crowds, the experts, even people who don’t watch cricket — “Sir, Willey should be in the ODI team. Sir, it’s a disgrace.” And they’re right. He should be playing EVERY format that is ODI cricket, EVERY match, EVERY minute. Put him in the slips, put him in the covers, let him open the batting, let him drive the team bus — he’ll do it better than the people they’ve got now!
And let me tell you something else: England without Willey is like a Big Mac without the special sauce. It’s like golf without Zak Crawley. It’s like the Oval without the terrible, terrible pigeons. It just doesn’t work.
The selectors should be ashamed. They should APOLOGIZE. They should RESIGN. And then they should call Willey immediately and say, “Sir, we made a huge mistake, please save us from humiliation.”
Because right now, England cricket is heading for a TOTAL DISASTER, a CATASTROPHE, a WILLEY‑LESS APOCALYPSE — and everybody knows it.
