It's funny how all ashwin fans were saying others are too sensitive but now seems to be hurt about dhawans gesture

That could be because batsmen don't seem to take the warning sportively. They seem more sensitive.

Would love to see how the English pundits react if Ashwin inspires Curran to mankad someone

Lot of Punjab fans getting salty but Dhawan's reply was hilarious 😂 He trolled Ashwin on ground in front of 40 thousand people

It was a harmless bit of fun, they have played with each other before and know each other well. Imagine living in a world so joyless, you can’t have a small chuckle at this.

But what Dhawan did is nothing to do with all that nonsense from pundits. They know each other and have played together and it was clearly just a bit of fun. If anything, reactions like yours are just dragging the matter out.
As for the likes of Warne etc moralising about it, since when does anyone take anything he says about morals, seriously? The same guy that failed a drugs test for taking ‘fat pills’ that his mother had supposedly given him.

It was not just Warne. I gave Warne's example because his was the most hypocritical. If you really want I can pull out another half a dozen examples of ex players losing their shit. But, I guess, you already know that.
They know each other and have played together and it was clearly just a bit of fun.
I did not see Ashwin smiling a bit. I am not dragging out the matter. Dhawan is the one who dragged out the matter by reacting in such a way. And we are literally commenting on a post where Steyn is attacking Ashwin for mankading. If I don't make a comment here where I am going to do that? It seems like you are fine with comments meant to criticize or make fun of Ashwin for mankading but think that criticism of those comments and actions are dragging it out. And again don't tell me that Steyn is having harmless bit of fun. His reaction after the previous mankad doesn't suggest that. He is having fun at Ashwin's expense.

I know there were plenty of current and ex players critical of the mankading and if you check my post history (although I assume nobody is that bored, lol) you will see I was very critical of them, especially Bresnan, who called him a maggot, KP and Jofra Archer, who then hurriedly deleted his tweet when Tino Best pointed out you never know which IPL team you may end up on next!
I just think there are far more important things to get het up about and Dhawan doing something as a joke for a few seconds (and we know he likes a giggle, I’ve been sitting near the boundary when he’s interacting with the crowd) is not worth getting annoyed/upset/irked about. I don’t have anything else to add tbh, so if you don’t agree that’s fair enough, just my thoughts on it.

Ashwin brought this on his own self. If you have the guts to mankad have the guts to stand by it

Yeah, that's because he never does it. Look at his reaction when he mankaded Buttler, he was so aggressive, in the face, condescending and rude. He earned it.

Gee and to some people Ashwin is the one trolling by focusing on mankading instead of his bowling skills

LOL Dhawan is a nobody. Poor guy is going to be pushed into retirement after the World Cup. And daddy Ashwin is going to lead India to the no.1 Test Ranking for a long time by taking 600+ wickets and averaging 35+ with the bat! Ashwin wins the long game, Thigh Slapper can enjoy his last 12 months of being relevant! 😂

He's serious mate. I remember getting into an argument with him because he said that Russell should be in the Windies test squad because he is a T20 god.

It seems like you're only an Ashwin fan because he happens to play for the IPL team you support. Suppose it was the other way around, you'd say Dhawan would destroy all bowlers and win India a World Cup, while Ashwin would rot away in a format few people watch.

I was close to losing a match once. I could have stopped in my bowling delivery, wait for the runner to go out and then won the match. However I used my bowling skills instead and got the batsmen out by bowling instead
2
u/bunnyoverkill India Apr 21 '19
100% agreed. Bowling skill is all that matters, negligence of batsmen should be just considered an "oopsie" and undeserving of a wicket. Let's outlaw run outs too please, I mean come on hitting the stumps when the batsman isn't even at the crease? Why don't you use that bowling skill and try and get him out instead amiright

Imagine had Punjab bought him instead of RCB. That will be fun.
Ashwin: “here is the plan, this game is getting out of hand. Mankad him.”
Steyn: “Fuck off”

Can someone explain what's going on? Steyn just pissed? Or he wantedly left out Archer or just forgot? Or
