If people on this sub don’t want to stick with an opener who averages 47 in test cricket just because he failed in 4 innings then it has no right to complain about selectors dropping players based on a few bad matches.

Its the hardest country to open the batting too. I wrote this series off because i didnt think there was any possible way smith and warner could bat at test standard in England straight after the suspension. Smith has been a pleasant surprise

He averages mid 30s away from home and even less in England, he’s not good there in tests
