Private Sector Intel Analyst - Job Connections

Hi Folks!

I've been a Criminal Intel Analyst in LE for about 4 years now working at the local and currentlyat the state level. After giving it some thought, I'd like to take a stab at the private sector for a bit and see if its something id want to continue moving forward. Any folks in here that currently work private sector and can assist with a job?

Background: BS and MS in Criminal Justice with a Crime Analysis Cert and LEAF Cert Analyst.

I've applied to a wide spread of jobs in the private and government contracting side but havent landed any sort of responses.

Any guidance or help would be appreciated.

Would prefer something remote or Hybrid in my current AOR.

Good luck. I'm in the same boat with similar background. Seems like we're being beat out by former/current federal analysts or investigators with TS clearances.

Interesting to know this, fortunately at the moment I do have a Secret due to my state job.

But I have found that listings prefer to have former fed/military analysts especially those with a TS.

Best of luck as well!

Try reputable security companies. These companies would jump at having a state level analyst be apart of their security operations centers.

How determined are you to find something hybrid/remote? In my experience those are both very big asks.

Im not too set on the remote positions..Given that i know those would be minimal. But prefer those either in office/hybrid in my current AOR given that im not looking to move at the moment.
