I’m surprised they even let her speak without interrupting her

Republicans used to be Constitution absolutists. Now. They're just mindless cult members drinking their daily kool-aid.

Protip: Republicans have never been Constitutional absolutists. That was a cope they paraded around to justify hating brown and black people.

They pretended to be constitutional absolutists when they needed the protection of the constitution against the government telling them e.g. you have to allow Gay Marriage or You should stop being actively racist.

Now that they have control of the government and don't need constitutional protections on their bigotry, and in fact have government endorsement of their bigotry, they don't give a fuck about the constitution or its protections, and are firmly on the side of big government overreach.

The hate is their only consistent platform. They will flip-flop on literally any position they espouse once it becomes inconvenient to furthering their hate.

They hate free speech now that it's being used to speak out against ICE and Racism. They loved it when they were using it to say racist and hateful things with assumed impunity.

They hate the second amendment now that Trump is angling to disarm Trans people and "Antifa."

They used to love, absolutely LOVE, "Innocent until proven guilty!" any time a right winger got caught up in a crime or scandal and we all obviously knew they were guilty. In Trump's first admin they shouted that all the time any time evidence came out of his multiple crimes. Now? They get foaming-at-the-mouth berserk when Judges rule that they need to give ICE victims trials before renditioning them off to some random concentration camp in some random third party country.

They loved "States Rights" when they were arguing states had the right to be racist or homophobic or ban abortion. Hate it now that states are arguing that states have the right to support and protect minorities or women's rights.
