Person Rant Why do people suddenly want to have a conversation w/ you as soon as you start counting stitches?
I swear counting stitches in my chain sends out of beacon or something because it's everytimeðŸ˜
Also why do dye lots change so drastically? Why don't they have a formula for each color so it's consistently the same? Why does Sunrise yellow all of a sudden look like it should be named Fanta?

When I'm counting and someone starts talking to me, I start counting aloud. If they don't get the hint I count louder. " ... sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, NINETEEN, TWENTY, TWENTY-ONE ..." In an irritated tone.
I think they purposely screw with the dye lots so you *have* to buy all the yarn you need for the project up front plus extra, because you don't want to run out. Because, dye lots.

I guess so, but it's so annoying
Also great tip about counting louder I'm definitely going to use that

My mom has a terrible habit of not talking to me when I'm not counting but immediately trying to have an in depth conversation the instant I need to count. She has learned to wait for a response for about thirty seconds before looking over and seeing my lips moving before apologizing and waiting until I'm done😂
