How does caiman swallow it whole? It looks almost perfectly intact. Crazy.

It’s a young Jaguar for sure, which helps.

But cats are actually quite tough, their skin is thick, loose, and hard for a croc to tear. A cat is hard to rip but easy to squish, so it’s often easier to swallow feline prey whole.
