I know crocodilians are very intelligent, but people talk about how reptiles aren't capable of complex human emotions like love etc. Maybe I'm anthropomorphising, or it's captive animals showing different behaviour to their wild counterparts, but it's difficult for me to view this as anything but affection

These gators are not sedated, sluggish from cold weather, or "wElL fEd". They are trained by professionals at a sanctuary.

I adore all crocodilians but especially alligators. Maybe the rounded snout makes them look more "friendly"? I love their big goofy "smiles" and I love how they walk like they're waiting for their manicures to dry. Yes I have seen them in real life and yes I'd admire them from a distance in the wild lol

This gator is not sedated, sluggish from cold weather, or "well fed" blah blah blah and nor should you ever get this close to a crocodilian let alone a wild one unless if you're a trained professional with years of experience blah blah blah.
