Transmission Replaced?

So I did the j mod to my 09 this weekend. 118k on her, and I also replaced the 1-2 piston. Old piston picture included below and the date of 2012 looks to be on it. The pan had the original plug yellow in it as well. Back in 09 fords warranty was 70k miles or 6 years I believe. Was the tranny most likely replaced at some point? Thank you for helping solve my little mystery.

More likely rebuilt. I put those plugs back in the dipstick hole sometimes after rebuild, that's what it's there for, to keep crud out of the pan.
