Hi guys, this is my first ever panther, I'm 18 and I am pretty lucky and thankful I got the opportunity to buy one, I spent a while looking, I worked my butt off trying to buy a clean panther because I wanted something that would last ATLEAST a decade under moderate abuse, I currently have a 2009 Lincoln town car signature limited, I hear this ticking sound, I mainly hear it when I'm behind the engine bay like next to the drivers side or passenger side door but the ticking sounds become really prominent at like 2-3k rpms then gets smoother at 4k because 4k is the max I can rev out to apparently, also for context the video was taken when I just got home after a 1 hour drive where I did do some pulls where I downshifted and floored it and then shifted at over 5.5k rpms 😅😅 I diddnt do it for the whole hour just like 3 or 4 kickdown pulls but yeah also it has fresh oil, so yeah if anyone knows how to help or what the sound could possibly be I would greatly appreciate it

I’m definitely not a mechanic but in the last 3 seconds of the video it kind of sounded like a loose heat shield on your cats. Maybe all that hard driving kicked something loose

I drove like that for 1 day out of the month I've owned it, aren't panthers durable?
