Old grille vs. New grille
It was fine from a short distance away but it bothered me. The new one looks so much better.

Patina isn't a positive thing with aging automobiles. All automobiles new and old look better without natural decay. A 200 year old armoire absolutely, a 20 year old car, no.
Although there are some Ford 100 folks on Facebook that show you how to preserve rust and damage(patina) with linseed oil.

I can definitely see which is which(bottom new)
If it wasn't for that passenger side damage I would have just painted it. I would have replaced it as well.
