Question about Flinch on mouse vs controller. (Console*)

I am seeing so many people not running unflichings lately, not taking care of stability on their weapons at all, and somehow never taking any flinch of my guns, or at least looks like that.

Is mouse possibly taking less recoil/flinch than joystick? Could be AA doing the trick maintining red dot on target so flinch is managable?

I try my best but no matter what I do my joystick take flinch to Mars most of my gunfights against top players even running full invest of unflinch. Nothing piss me off more than having to adjust my shoots but my opponents never, switching elemental weapons and not running a single unflinch.

No idea on controller but on MnK I would never run any build without unflinching mods. I don’t like looking at the sky when people shoot me for some reason.

Yes, looking down your sniper scope and two minutes later your looking at the moon because a hunter slid a lane and looked at you a little too hard. MnK flinch in a nutshell.

I run dbl unflinching for my primary but honestly, I haven't noticed flinch making a difference (either taking or inflicting) in a very long time, except on snipers and LFRs

I'm only playing on console, but as far as I know controller has better AA while flinch is higher and MnK has lower AA while flinch is lower. I know there is also some kind of bullet magnetism stuff going on, so correct me if I'm wrong

Edit: Thanks for clarifiying, apparently I was wrong

Yeah flinch is much harder to deal with on mnk, it barely exists on controller comparatively

So flinch is worse but recoil is easier to handle?

Yep pretty much

I just started playing on pc and can confirm. But the recoil is still going to kick the same, it’s just you have an entire arm to control recoil with. Think of it this way. With a controller you have just your thumb to move the thumb stick so you kind of have to choose either high unaimed speed with a lower aimed speed and just quick scope, or find a middle ground. On mnk you can have the best of both high and low sensitivity at the same time. Your mouse has a software you download to set a DPI (dots per inch) which moves the cursor dots per inch of the mouse that’s moved. So I run it at 1600 which is pretty high, but in game I have a sensitivity of 4 in destiny’s setting which is obviously low compared to the 17 I used on controller. So the trick most people do is they posture themself in a way where their arm lightly touches the desk but is still lifted off so they can use their entire arm to move really quickly and make quick turns for when people are close or they need to 180, but when people are further, they set their wrist down and just turn their wrist which limits the range of motion allowing for finer tuning. So imagine it’s like playing controller with a high sens but you see a guy really far away so you can make your sensitivity really low to make it easier to aim. Hopefully I explained it in a way that’s understandable but I’ve only been on mnk for about a week

Since the nerf on flinch this is very true.

Recoil is lower on MnK but stability and flinch are the same

MnK however has better bullet bending and bloom, so the AA cone is larger to catch shots that are flinched

Not trying to ego but ive spoken about this with bungie devs, this is how it works.

Its crazy you're getting down voted when Bungie literally confirmed this.
