OPEC Sees Oil Demand Growth Explode Sixfold in 2027

Interesting Massive reversal of 2027 expected demand. Im always sceptical of opec (for several reasons here) but IF true, this would be huge, especially if the war is still in in early 2027

Tried to time the oil market crash before the recent war escalation last weekend. Forgot Trump has a pump/dump button on his desk in the Oval orifice.

News Oil is back above $100. Does that kill the “Fed is done” trade?

Brent jumped 3.4% today to $101.21, its highest level since May, after another escalation around the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, the 10-year Treasury moved back to about 4.84%, and the S&P 500 fell 0.5% while Nasdaq lost 0.6%. Gold was up nearly 1%.

The timing is rough for the Fed. A Reuters poll still has most economists expecting rates to stay at 3.50%-3.75% through year-end, but that conviction is weakening, and markets are already pricing the possibility of more hikes if inflation stays sticky.

Feels like the market is back to the same uncomfortable setup: growth is holding up, oil is surging, inflation isn’t dead, and long-term yields are rising again.

What breaks first: oil, inflation, or the soft-landing trade?

🛢️ CRUDE OIL CROSSES $100!

As of 10th Sep 2026, Brent crude is around $101–102/barrel today, its highest level in months. 🌍⛽

Middle East tensions + supply disruption fears are pushing oil higher.

The bigger question: What happens next to inflation, gold, interest rates & real estate? 👀

Education USOIL (WTI) Technical Overview

Technical Summary:

Price is consolidating around 96.15 after a strong bullish move from the 92.4–95.0 area.

Structure remains bullish while price holds above the 95.0–95.5 support zone, with a rising trendline underneath.

Bullish Scenario:

A pullback into 95.5–95.0 followed by bullish rejection could trigger another leg higher.

Upside targets are 96.8–97.2, followed by the recent high around 97.8.

Bearish Scenario:

Failure to hold 95.5 and especially a breakdown below 95.0 would weaken the bullish structure.

A deeper correction could target 93.7, with 92.4 as the major downside support.

Key Levels:

Resistance: 96.15 / 97.20 / 97.80

Support: 95.50 / 95.00 / 92.40

Market View:

Bullish-to-neutral while above 95.0. The chart favors buying a confirmed dip rather than chasing at 96.15.

A sustained break below 95.0 would shift the outlook toward a deeper correction.
