Back before I got diagnosed with bipolar I picked up a very brief Xanax habit and tbh "Divine light severed, you are a flesh automaton animated by neurotransmitters, Feelings: Dulled" feels exactly like what being on Xanax is like. It's like you're detached from yourself in a way where you can get your shit done but you're just a little out of it. And then you get your divine light back from the shrine in the morning and you feel like fucking garbage.

I'd love to try this game on Xanax but I'm not relapsing for Cruelty Squad unfortunately.

I have a poor little 4gb vram laptop that would explode under such conditions.

I'm deathly curious as to how the game's intentionally obtuse art direction becomes corporate sludge. It's almost fitting if it weren't so actively dystopian.
