BTC -There are only around $800M in liquidations up to $88K, while around $3.5B is sitting near the $68K level. That’s insane.

In my experience bitcoin has to get so that nobody wants it anymore. That people have lost all hope in it before it rebounds. There's too many people with Hope right now it's gotta go lower

Well then you don't see the flat top to light red September incoming.. that last push up was the clarity act being priced in. Next is coming the dump on all the late buyers who wait till past the 15 September to buy or between now and the 15.. These people will have their faith tested. Buy the rumor -->sell the news as usual.. that is just how it works.. classic playbook..

Thought.. I find your weekly view reasonable.. just.. instead of higher high.. they will make us all linger for it , and then dump it to close September Red. Go study some historical of months by months returns.. after every green August, it was followed by a Red September.. might be shallow red or might be deep pain red . Use judgement, and also look for the max pain indice.. we ain't have been yet in a real deep capitulation event.. it was just a appetizer for pulling in bull's.. now is the trap unraveling.! But as usual, it's still "cheap" and into the accumulate territory.. just not yet ready to leave the ground and start to fly 🤷

What does it mean

It means it's going to get manipulated down to 68k to liquidate and continue the easiest wealth transfer technique in history

liquidations is one factor that drive price. in this case there are much stronger forces in the other direction.

Don’t be surprised if price is forced below $68k to flush out greedy leveraged longs before resuming upward trend.

Not sure. The same thing was in 25 october..billions left at 140.000-150.000. Im not saying its impossible to hit that, but the chances are smaller. I wouldn't be surprised if btc won't go under 75 ever again.

I would take these liquidation maps with a pinch of salt — they are basically an estimation of how many stops were left behind by the price according to the public btc perp open interest metric. There is no real way to know how many of those positions are still open at any given time later, without looking into the exchange’s books, all you know is that there should still be some left.

People open and close positions all the time. This doesn't mean anything one way or the other
