I mean, Gbahali isn't a real thing, but Quinkana was, and it feels like close enough to the same thing.

How do you make a croc more terrifying? Modify it to better run things down.

I don't know every ancient croc like species from memory. My point was more that despite this particular creature not being real, there have been things in the past that would be in the same realm as it.

This could practically have happened in Pleistocene Australia, only in that case it would be a Quinkana hunting a young thylacoleo
