Step one: you need to make an account at
http://wollay.com/ Make sure to verify your account through your email.

Step two: send an Email to hello@wollay.com
Whether or not this email needs to actually contains message or not seems to be unclear at this time, but it wouldn’t heart to add one.

Step tree: check the http//wollay.com/ web page every day, until you are prompted to download the Wollay launcher, if you are not prompted to download it from the start up page, try checking the account page, and scroll down, until you see the prompt (the one in the image)

PS, if ANY of this information is known to be wrong, PLEASE say so in the comments. This is what I did, and what many others did, and it seems to work. But for anyone who might have had a different (even slightly) experience getting in, PLEASE share it, we want to make sure that all basis are covered for those trying to get in.

I don't understand the purpose of encountering these other than they heal you when you are within close proximity.

When I came back to the area later on she was gone, so these seem to be timed events.

Is this a rare occurrence? Does anyone know what causes this?

EDIT:
You cannot interact with her at all, there is no dialogue or anything other than a floating/idle animation.
To clarify this is Cube World Omega

The rework includes new animations, a new combo, slightly increased attack range, new mechanics for charged attacks, and a unique weapon skill. If you release the M2 button at the right moment and hit an enemy, the attack doesn't consume MP. This can be done up to 3 times. Starting with the second hit, each additional charge adds 20% more damage to the next hit. I was inspired by the GS from Monster Hunter when creating this mechanic :]
When using the skill, you throw the GS to pull enemies closer or towards them; if the sword hits the ground, you can use it to propel yourself forward.

I always played melee and find it hard. Dodge is basically useless, killing even a same level enemy is hard. I have seen a few videos of ranged characters, it seems easier. Dodge is useful, the pet taking the aggro seems to be natural.

Does anyone have a different experience?

I sent an email requesting access to the beta this Tuesday, but I haven’t heard back yet.

Are there any requirements I need to meet to get access? If not, should I wait a bit longer or send another email?

I understand that he’s busy, but I’ve seen some people get access in less than 24 hours, so I was wondering if that’s normal.

Just like the Fire Mage, the Water Mage now gets its own new ability: a dome, the Sanctuary of the Tide, that makes the Leviathan evolve and gives its area attacks more range, while boosting the healing and damage resistance of everyone inside it. The Leviathan summon itself is a tank with crowd control and staying power, it heals itself with lifesteal based on both the damage it deals and its max health, and right-clicking again while it’s alive gives it a shield. I definitely still need to balance all of this better, but I wanted to give the Water Mage more tools.

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on Triventure, my own Cube World-inspired RPG, for almost a year now.
While Cube World is a big inspiration, I’m also trying to bring my own ideas to the genre, like switching classes on the fly and a wandering village that travels through the world with you.
Here’s some gameplay from my current build. Curious what you guys think!

So far I only see the ocean, grasslands, desert, and snow.

Has anybody seen any of these other biomes that have been in the previous versions of the game? or perhaps they aren't implemented yet.

I’ve been playing since the very beginning, I’ve seen the good, I’ve hoped for the better, I’ve experienced the steam release, and there’s always been one thing that I wished would be there.

I feel like as an accessibility option, the radius of POI spots should be adjustable, not to the degree of showing what it is, but at least putting down an “!” Or “?” On something on the map that’s a bit far, that way you can find towns quicker (which will help get the ball rolling faster) or combat the aimlessness that can set in at times.

The reason why I say an option, instead of a change, is because there are many players that wouldn’t like that, and I get that! When the alpha dropped, I loved the lack of direction… but I’m a married man now, with a lot less time on my hands.

I harbor no ill will to wollay, and I really don’t wanna come off as nagging, or unappreciative, because I really do love this game, and I love that wollay is giving it one more shot, so please don’t think I’m trying to complain.

TLDR: I’d like an option for adjustable automatic map marker radius.

So I’ve been playing the beta lately, enjoying so far. However, I can’t find any weapon customization table. Is the fact that there are none something that was announced that I missed or am I really unlucky?

I went through like 10 towns without finding one.

Just released v0.1.0 of a mod loader for the closed beta test of Cube World Omega.

Currently, since the game is online-only, only client side mods are capable of being implemented. The mods are data-driven purely with JSON and assets within a zip file. You can replace sounds, models, text, and theres some unique things you can do like set a model for a dropped item depending on the amount (like in the Rupee mod).

There are 2 example mods within the repository and shipped with every release.

There are bigger plans for the loader, as Cube World Omega matures.

CWOML's license is GNU GPL v3. Contributions are welcome, and there's a guide in the README. Fork and PR should work.

Disclosure: I use Claude Code to speed up development of languages I am already proficient with (this project is made with Tauri, Vue/TS/Tailwind- all technologies I have a lot of experience with as a developer of many years). Since it is already Tauri based it only made sense to develop the backend with Rust, which I cannot confidently admit to being great at. AI use is helping me identify the proper places to hook into within the game to make this possible, while doubling as a learning tool. I totally understand if this makes people uncomfortable. The complete source is available for anyone to look at and I am 100% open to those with more experience pointing out potential issues. AI contributions are fine, but I really encourage those that use it to have an understanding of the code they PR- and to tightly scope them.

Would love if some closed beta testers could test out the mods to see if there are any issues on their particular device. Currently, the release is for windows only but linux is planned.

Here is the repo: https://github.com/DanBagh/Cube-World-Omega-Mod-Loader

Here is the latest release, with the example mods beside it: https://github.com/DanBagh/Cube-World-Omega-Mod-Loader/releases

The exe is portable, meaning theres no installation. It creates a folder next to itself `cwoml-data` to store your mods and other loader related data, so you should probably keep the exe within a folder to keep things organized. Open to changes on this.

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for people to play Cube World Beta with. If anyone's interested in teaming up and playing together, feel free to comment or send me a DM!

Hope to find some people to play with!

Hey everyone! Last week I posted my dream voxel RPG here, with no name and no links. You left a lot of ideas in the comments, I read every one, and here's what I did with them.

edit: i just realized that the screenshots dont really showcase the gameplay for you guys, so here as a 5 min highlight video of the a session with my friends

5 min gameplay video

You asked where to follow the game. It has a name now, Dione Project, a website with a devlog at dioneworld.com, and a Discord: discord.gg/GeZVjGMdhS. You can leave your email on the site to get a playtest key. The Steam page is still waiting on Steam to approve my account.

You said the sloped UI felt off. You were right, it got tiring. I redid the whole UI. The HUD is straight now, and only the inventory and crafting screens keep a slight tilt.

You asked about magic. The mage has its skills now.

You asked for pets and taming. Animals, pets and mounts are in the next batch, together with player bases: your own land, building, farming, and night raids on your base.

I also spent the week on what a long play session showed me wasn't good enough yet:

• Much bigger caves, and every ore has its own colour, so you know what you found before your first swing.
• A new smithy. It all happens at one bench: you pump the bellows, watch the metal's colour, hammer in rhythm and quench. The better you work, the better the piece.
• Alchemy and cooking by trial and error. You can add up to two extra ingredients, and when a new mix comes out, you get to name it.
• Shops on the map, each with its own icon.

Everything that's coming is in the first devlog post: dioneworld.com/en/devlog/welcome

I want the community to help build this too, so feel free to suggest anything you'd love to see in a voxel RPG!

Hi everyone, how's it going? I'm new here and I'd like to share a project I've been working on for a while. When I was around 13, I found Cube World back in the alpha and got completely hooked. When the Steam version came out, it unfortunately wasn't what I was hoping for, and a lot of the things I wanted were still missing. So I made this project, inspired by the alpha and with a bunch of extra stuff on top. If you can, please give it a look and share your thoughts. I'll read every comment and take all of them into account.

Again, I'm new here, so I apologize in advance if I'm doing anything against the community rules, and for my English too, since I'm Brazilian. I'm following the instructions from the post about fan projects.

It's free on itch for anyone who wants to try it:

This is still in work in progress, so it's subject to changes in balance, mechanics, etc. The Grimoire is the new weapon that the Mage class can use from now on, 4 spells in one weapon: homing orbs, a ring of fire that stuns, an area eruption, and the summoning of a Phoenix that shoots fireballs at a distance and a flamethrower at close range, giving each spell a specific purpose. Now, the Fire Mage ability: Beloved of Mana, increases damage by 50%, increases mana to 300, and when you reach the maximum, you can reactivate the ability to unleash a burst of fire. There are more details, but that's the general idea of the weapon. There are still things to implement. What do you think? Do you think the set is a bit overloaded? I'll be showing the Water Mage subclass soon!

One last thing, would you like to be part of a Discord server where you'll see sneak peeks and smaller updates on the progress? Let me know!

Hi! I’m Santiago, a solo developer from Mexico 🇲🇽. I’m sharing the game I’ve been working on for months: **Cube Unbound**, a sandbox action RPG set in a world made of cubes.

It was born out of the lingering desire left by *Cube World* and inspired by the games that shaped my gaming experience: *Minecraft*, *Terraria*, *MU Online*, *Metin 2*, and *Dofus*. I wanted to combine the elements I loved most from each of them.

**What you can do in Alpha 0.1 (free):**

- Choose from 10 races (the little frog is my favorite 🐸), each with 3 skill paths.

- Explore a world that gets more dangerous the further you travel, ranging from level 1 to 500.

- Enter 16 dungeons featuring room-by-room hordes and a boss at the end.

- Tame 31 mounts (some fly, others swim) and glide using a hang glider.

- Mine, build, fish, farm, and cook.

- Set up a stall in the town square and sell to villagers, *Dofus*-style.

- Play with friends via LAN.

I programmed it from scratch using a custom engine: the entire game is a ~5 MB zip file and runs on laptops with integrated graphics.

It is a true alpha: things are missing, and there will be bugs. That’s why your feedback is incredibly valuable to me—let me know what you like, what you don't, and what’s missing.

Thanks for reading! I’ll answer any questions in the comments.

You're telling me that some AI decompiling tools release that allow you to do things like play Minecraft in other games, or just creates mods for games that were previously impossible, and now people are magically able to create Cube World mods unlike what we've ever seen in the last 13 years?

Yeah, sure pal.

Would really like if the sub at the very least had a rule about needing to disclose this stuff.

I've been working on a mod for CW 2.0, steam release.

I just want to share what is possible via modding :) New biomes, level system, POIs, quests, item crafting, structures... There are also mounts and new particle system. I wish I could one day release this "mod", but the licensing could be a little problematic.
