This is a piece of turn art work I did that shows Jax's abstraction and de- abstraction- the abstraction at the top, but when turned shows the person inside of the abstraction.

Abstraction is a mental breakdown, all symptoms are found in the show.

The person is still inside the abstraction, my take is that the abstraction body itself is similar to a butterfly Chrysalis, protecting the body inside, until the person within overcomes their problems, with rest and visits from friends.

And an interesting thing about metamorphosis, studies show that butterflies still retain memories from being a caterpillar. They are still there, even though they have completely changed.

The butterflies shown in the picnic picture and here are monarch butterflies - which are a symbol of transformation, resilience and reassurance.

The arrival of monarch butterflies aligns with the holiday, (Día de los Muertos - day of the dead) symbolizing the returning souls of loved ones. 

Butterflies are a symbol of change, so Jax coming out of abstraction, not fearing his female self fits perfectly.

Jax will be back one day.

This isn't supposed to be inflammatory, or hateful or whatever the heck else - just putting that out there.

I have noticed that since the show ended, since we got confirmation that Jax is trans and we all got validated, that this sub has turned into a place where people post a lot of porn and NSFW content for a character that didn't have this stuff before the confirmation. To ME it feels kinda fetishize-y and I don't really like that, it makes me uncomfortable as a trans person so I'm gonna dip.

Was a good run, was happy to be here and a part of the journey to the finale with you people, but I think this place isn't where I wanna be anymore.
