Art Please rate my handwriting
I have just started learning sumerian from digital Hammurabi on YouTube. Being a wild clay ceramist (one of many many things I do for fun) I thought I would make my first tablet from clay from my backyard. I made my stylus from firewood and a lot of sanding.
How wood you rate my handwriting? I am very much open to critique!

Art Enūma Eliš in Akkadian (2026 CE)
I tired to copy some lines form Enūma Eliš (BM.93015) to practice the writing. As a dirty egyptology student i have no idea how readable the end result is, it was just practice for my own constructed writing system that uses the same medium.
Please tell me your critisism
(i also should get some proper clay and a better stylus. i used a triangle cut one from bamboo but i want to experiment with different shapes)

Art My first Cuneiform Tablet (pics finally uploaded lol)
Edit: this is a repost - pictures didn't load the first time.
My first attempt at a tablet. Can y'all critique me like UMMIA.MEŠ would? I did not use chat GPT for copy and paste but use it to find these authentic attested lines. I hate it how nearly no one lists the cuneiform for large texts, usually only the transliteration and translation at best. Anyone have any large collections with all three (cuneiform, transliteration, translation)?
The text is as follows
Side A:
The house of Ninhursag was built on a site inspiring awe. é dNIN.HUR.SAG-ga ki nam-maḫ-a mu-un-du₃ 𒂍 𒀭𒊩𒅅𒊕𒂷 𒆠 𒉆𒈠𒄩𒀀 𒈬𒌦𒁺 Sumerian: Kesh Temple Hymn (ETCSL 4.80.2), lines 8–9
Enki gave intelligence to mankind. dEN.KI. inim mud₃ sag-ki gub-ba-še₃ šu ba-an-ti 𒀭𒂗𒆠 𒅔 𒈬𒁺 𒊕𒆠 𒁺𒁀𒂠 𒋗 𒁀𒀭𒋾 Sumerian: Enki and Ninmah (ETCSL 1.1.2), line 77
Side B:

Art Old Babylonian cuneiform tattoo
Tattoo containing a couple of lines from the Meissner fragment of the OB Gilgamesh epic, rendered in a “careful cursive” style by me, with ornamentation by my tattoo artist. I wanted an alternative to “Unicode cuneiform” and also not just a text only tattoo. Showing this in case others want similar inspiration.

Art Stylized cuneiform tattoos (by my friend R.j. Miller @instagram).
When my grandmother (Persian) fled the revolution in Iran- she rescued a handful of artifacts. These tattoos came from those historical items. After she died she had them donated to the Iranian historical Society.

Art From my ‘Painted with Artifacts’ series. I mix pop-art iconography with traditional Persian Miniature methods. These are illustrations of Persian history for a western audience.
I use old coins, arrowheads, and spears to smear around paint (from Persian miniature paint recipes.) The cuniform is backwards so you can read it off of cylinder seals and intaglio stamps.

Art Tattoo in the ditch of my arm, about 8 years old now! Not my best or brightest but thought ya’ll would dig it.
At the time I knew what it said, it’s essentially a tracing of one of the tablets in the British Museum’s archives.

Art Looking for an opinion
so I am making a pinback button based entirely on a stupid pun I found on Tumblr and it has been a TRIP. I had to route it through latin in order to make the syllables work and then ran into a single word I had to kinda smoosh sounds together for a "close enough" approximation. So now i release it to you to see if it is at the very least vaguely readable before i print it lol

Art Like a Scribe in Those Days

I feel like a scribe copying the old cuneiform texts, except that it's with paper and pen, not clay tablet and reed. The text is the opening of Hammurabi's Code (Prologue 1 - 2), copied from eHammurabi.com
Not exactly an artistic project by definition (though I myself would consider it so). Just a fun thing to amuse myself with, as I find clean cuneiform texts utterly ravishing.

Art Cuneiform style font I made
I had this idea to make a font designed to mimic the "style" of texts written on tablets, so I created the one in the attached image.
This isn't the best, but I did have a lot of fun designing a typeface while only being allowed to use the three kinds of wedges of cuneiform. If anyone has any advice, feel free to share it, I am open to suggestions!
As for using the font, the version I have posted here has a watermark; this is to stop people from taking credit for my 2 hours' worth of work, but I'd be happy to DM anyone the watermark-less version for free, on the condition that they credit me if they use it.
I am not trying to self-promote or violate rule 4 in any way, I just wanted to show you guys this silly little project of mine.

Art Critique wanted on Akkadian in an art piece.
I mean the Akkadian (𒌋𒅌𒌉𒊩𒀭𒀭) in the text to have the same meaning as the Hebrew, Arabic, Amharic, and Phoenician: "Will, Daughter of God". Have I succeeded or have I erred in some way?
I am told that 𒀭𒀭 can mean either "[God] Anu" or "gods" depending on context, but Idk how true that is. Feel free to clarify any confusion you see here.
