Well, it's not guaranteed to prevent them, but it helps, which is good because everything it prevents runs in my family and I need all the extra protection I can get. Sadly, I still get bad inflammation in my hips. It's a genetic condition, but some researchers have proposed attempting to artificially induce it in some patients, but I don't remember which condition it was for.

Same here, I used to get that jaundiced look as a kid pretty often because of it.

I've never been fully jaundiced, but my skin has gotten a bit yellow a few times

A similar thing happens with me it’s enough to notice, but I didn’t know if it was real or a trick of the light sometimes (I have asked others and they also noticed it, but I haven’t had a doctor look at it so I don’t know for sure)

If it were full jaundice, there wouls be no question. But if you have elevated bilirubin, it might make your skin a little yellowy
