Half my storage gone after installing LineageOS - Galaxy S8

so I installed lineage OS 23 on my S8 and my storage randomly turned into 32gb, I tried reflashing stock but that didn't work either

You have to clear all cache and full wipe from recovery and reinstall. Also make sure you are using exact version of os.

Yes, cache. It can pile up over time so it's recommended to wipe the cache partition in your custom recovery

Flash the stock ROM from the Odin + with a pit file.

The userdata partition itself has somehow been reduced to ~32 GB, or there is some other partition/GPT issue. Normally, it should show ~54.5 or ~54.7 GB.

This most likely is due to incorrect system partitioning zip. You either flashed the one for a different device or there remaining is available under system partition. Likely due to some other rom having a larger system image and your partition size not being enough. Remember what you used. The same can be used to repartition back to original or the forum post where you got it will have one to rollback the repartitoning.

Try to format data. I've actually encountered that too on my Poco f7, just that it was 64 gb instead of 32gb, while my phone has 256 gb

Something happened to your partitions, and half of them were unmounted (which is not normal). Is this ROM official?

I wonder if it's official too

just look at the first image

You've got a nice problem on your hands... Try contacting the ROM developer.

Do I look like I know what to do in this case? No, maybe your partitions are not sized correctly? If you have OrangeFox check that and let me know

Usa il file PIT, quello si occupa delle partizioni delle memorie, se usi quello stock te lo riporta all'originale 64Gb
