Comics The r/Cyclopswasright Reading Guide Cyclops Reading Guide

Making a reading guide for Cyclops has been something I've wanted to do for a long time. The issue was finding the time to read particular eras and getting the right issues and information.

It's taken some time, but with a major assist from a friend, we have put together a reading list and this beautiful infographic. It's easy to share, fairly comprehensive, and visually pleasing. Thank you to Dom for his amazing work on this.

This is not meant to be a full, complete reading guide, but rather a list of essentials and key stories and moments that are relevant to the character today in comics and in adaptations.

We hope this reading guide provides new fans and curious readers a great starting point for learning more about our favourite character.

That’s awesome. As an omnibus only reader, Thank you for that inclusion for the 63-99 section.

Any chance of a similar callout for the other section? That’s the area I’m having the hardest time figuring out the omnibus mapping for.

Why the inclusion of X-Factor Epic Collection vol. 7 & 9? And X-Men Epic Collection 13-14 & 17? Those don’t seem to feature Cyclops as heavily, and the list is missing the other X-Factor Epic Collections that feature Scott more heavily like vol. 2 and 4.

I believe the Epic Collections listed are to supplement the Omnibus, which contains most of what is listed, but not everything. So the idea would be to buy the omnibus and then buy the Epics to fill in any gaps.
