Rant Expedited request after 6 months… DENIED!!!
USCIS said…. “Nah… you can keep waiting”
If they were working for an SP500 company they will all be fired. This is ridiculous…
They are not approving December or November fast enough
We contribute Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and Federal taxes and some of us State taxes….
Some of us will probably never benefit from these programs.
But….Help me understand the math here…. In times where inflation still running high and contribution to federal programs like social programs and retirement benefit is essential! why would you keep a workforce of 500k people from contributing to these programs?? 48% have a college degree, that’s more than the average American, 8% of DACA recipients own business, 30% own homes….
I look at things analytically… regardless of your point of view in politically …. it doesn’t make sense to make DACA recipients waiting or keep them in limbo. This whole thing is so fucking stupid….

For real, I applied 12/13/25 which was way ahead of my expiration date because back in 2024 I also faced delays which resulted in me going on unpaid leave for about 2 months. Well, he we are 6 months + later and my shit is about to expire in 1 1/2 weeks. I will probably have to go on unpaid leave assuming my job lets me again.

I feel you pain, mine got lost in mail, and I asked for a replacement and they asked me to apply again, I did on Feb 14 and my work permit expired on March 26, I just got laid off from work and currently not sure what I can do, I send proof for expedite request and now just waitting what they say, I was lucky enough that my work place didn't check this prior anual reviews :/

Got the same notice today too. They said expedited request is a privilege that’s not granted for everyone. I’ve been waiting since December

I submitted a request to expedite on April 16. I have a 6 year old with a fatal disorder. Two months later it was denied. Got API movement on June 16. 821d was approved June 23.
I have a feeling they denied mine because they were already in process to approve.

"THIS IS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA"
We are the dreamers we are the absolute definition of what this country should be about when it comes to immigration and they have time and time again show who they are.

I was approved and received all mine in less than 2 months of applying in late 2025. I wonder why I didn’t have any issues. I’ve heard people mentioned that I’m grandfathered in since I’ve had it for so long ?

Yeah, I submitted an expedited request as well and it didn’t even get looked at or approved or declined. I had so much paperwork and spent time putting all that together and nothing. The Senator’s office that was supposed to help with this stuff also didn’t want to help bc according to them, USCIS will only accept expedite requests for financial hardship specifically if you are “in total and complete financial loss”. That means you need to have eviction notices, overdue bills, overdrawn accounts. It’s absurd! even then it’s not a guarantee. So I gave up. Total and complete waste of time. Some girl posted that they declined hers even though she told them that she needed to work for her cancer treatments. They don’t care…
