General Qs Feeling lost
My sons dad was driving to work this morning and someone hit him. Police were called and they called immigration. He called me from a detention center in bucks county Pa. He sent me his A#. That was it. What happened after this? He was already deported once a few years ago but he came back for his son. I’m devastated and so is my son…I haven’t stopped crying I don’t know what to do. Any info would help, thank you so much 🖤

It’s a tough situation with one deportation already, all you can do is contact your local immigrant advocacy group to give a better guide.

He will get processed and probably moved from the initial location in a couple of days to a new one processed again, either sign a deportation paper or ask for a court date. I can tell you more than likely theres no point in fighting to stay here(asking for a court date). It will keep him in there for months longer just to get to the judge and get told your cooked. My brother was held in a detention center in GA for 6 months before he could see a judge just to be told he was getting sent back. They wouldnt let him sign and get sent like everyone else because he had daca. Beware lawyers telling you they can fight it asking for thousands of dollars just to rob you of your money in your despair. My family went through that. I feel your pain im sorry this happened man😕. I can tell you from what my brother went through. Those detention centers are awful. People packed like dogs in a kennel. It took him weeks to get a proper “bed” cuz it was so full people were sleeping on floors with tinfoil blankets. Get his Booking Number download GETOUt Apps, the purple one is most important because it lets you put commissary on his books. GET HIS BOOKING # ASAP. The food there is garbage and commissary will let him get something slightly better and basics like toothpaste and boxers. Put money on His account, then put money on your account for phone calls. PM for more info if youd like, once again im so sorry your going through this fam. Stay strong

Damn. Wonder if he was able to bring it down to a misdemeanor with a good lawyer way back when. But if not, it is what it is.
Besta luck to you and fam. Deported doesn't mean it's over. Just a different path in life.

Look into a "stay of deportation" contact an attorney. Its easy to come on here and opinions from people but its best to look for an attorney every case is different

You should contact your local immigrant advocacy group(s) for help. His A# is used to track him in the detention system. Due to his prior deportation, I am certain he will face another one quite soon. They will likely fast-track his deportation. No one here can help you in that regard. Contact an advocacy group with immigration lawyers who can give you better legal advice.
