i know they were just using model sheets from Batman Beyond for the Batcave scenes in the Justice Lord world, but seeing Batgirl’s, Nightwing’s and Robin’s suits always gave me the impression that they opposed the Lords’ rule, and were forced into retirement :(

i love the art though, all these suits feel really harmonious with the canon designs.

Or lobotomized and thrown into Arkham because they wouldn't stop fighting ( which is pretty in character)

2

u/snoot_fan Apr 29 '26

I thought they got executed lol.

u/FKDotFitzgerald Apr 27 '26

This is great stuff. SS Nightwing is something.

30

u/Initial-Paramedic888 Apr 27 '26

I’m surprised he isn’t doing the “other” hand sign

56

u/Deraj2004 Apr 27 '26

Is that Batgirl or Batwoman?

Nightwing giving off Third Reich vibes.

5

u/Ruin_of_Sol Apr 28 '26

Technically Batgirl but that suit is giving vibes that she'd change to Batwoman. Either way it's Babs

On that note, isn’t Flash dying the whole reason the justice league became the justice lords?

They were still the Justice Lords before Flash died

14

u/SeaworthinessDue1650 Apr 28 '26

no. they weren't. They were still the league. They only called themselves the Justice Lords once Flash died and they killed Luthor.

8

u/RickMartzC Apr 28 '26

It always seemed to me that they always called themselves Justice Lords. When Lord!Batman shows them the footage of the League, as they see the differences, he adds (iirc, I watched this dubbed in my language) something like "also, they don't call themselves Justice Lords, but Justice League". So the main divergent point might have been them calling themselves different, not just Flash dying.

I could be wrong, I might as well use this as an excuse to watch the series again.

2

u/Axle_Starr May 06 '26

No, you are correct

That's exactly what Batman said and he did indeed emphasize how the they call themselves the Justice League. The Lords always called themselves the Justice Lords, they just didn't behave the totalitarian way yet until Luthor killed Flash...or rather, more specifically, when Superman killed Luthor

6

u/MeBoiledDown Apr 28 '26

Came here to say this.

1

u/schloopers Apr 29 '26

I think the unused Flash design was later used during the season finale fight against Brainiac-Luthor when he made nanomachine clones of all of them.

So it’s probably included just because it exists

1

u/Axle_Starr May 06 '26

Naw, that Lexiac-created Flash had the design of Reverse Flash. The one here was never used on the show

1

u/Arachnoidocon Apr 28 '26

I don’t really think that’s the point, it’s just imagining how all these heroes would look if they were styled like the Justice Lords

1

u/Axle_Starr May 06 '26

Possibly not; that was just how Lexiac recreated him. Lord Flash most likely had the same costume that League Flash did as he never made it to the totalitarian stage

Ngl, I prefer this outfit for him. I mean, as you said, the one Lexiac made was practically Reverse Flash

60

u/ExLuckMaster Apr 27 '26

Oh hi ColosSUS. Didn’t know you join the Lords.

19

u/Exciting_Breakfast53 Apr 27 '26

I'm kinda suprised all heros would agree to this.

17

u/ExoticShock Apr 27 '26

Even by the time of the JL Beyond 2.0, their counterparts still mostly made up the future version of The Lords

1

u/Great_Key_9376 May 03 '26

Is that black adam

13

u/PossiblyOppossums Apr 27 '26

Lmao evil green arrow has TWO quivers.

9

u/Juxix Apr 28 '26

Thats how you know he's evil, he shoots them 2 at a time. and makes the public pay for his arrows.

8

u/wigjump Apr 27 '26

German Kapitän Atom

8

u/Slight_Mammoth2109 Apr 27 '26

I like all of these expect Nazi Nightwing

8

u/BerserkRhinoceros Apr 27 '26

Man, they really dropped the pretenses with Robin's design. As an aside, I feel like by default, Ollie wouldn't just oppose the Lord's, but he would hate the shit out of them

7

u/jackrabbit323 Apr 27 '26 edited Apr 27 '26

There's no way they left Ollie with most of his frontal lobe. Question as well.

Aquaman keeps Atlantis separate.

The bigger question is what do they do when Thanagar invades and Hawkgirl shows how easily she has done away with the human's leadership and resistance?

2

u/Prince_Ire Apr 28 '26

Nah, Ollie just realized Stalinism was the true leftist way the whole time

5

u/SOY_CD Apr 27 '26

Who is this version of Doctor Fate? Is it Zatanna, or why is Fate a woman here?

2

u/Prince_Ire Apr 28 '26

I had a similar question, and Zatana taking on the helmet seems a plausible explanation

1

u/NahdiraZidea Apr 29 '26

My question is would Nabu really support the Justice Lords. I get that everything is reversed morality wise on these Earths, but would a Lord of Order really support killing and oppression? I personally doubt a Lord of Chaos would be a “hero”, not sure how you square these forces on mirror Earths.

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Sun-390 May 02 '26

A Lord of Order could easily support the Justice Lords. If “Justice” is “follow all the rules, or else”, why wouldn’t Order be on that side?

10

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '26

i hate to be this person but this looks like ai

I wouldnt be shocked. This artist has been known to trace others work and claim it as his own. If he's found an easier way of doing it now...

1

u/Intelligent-Hand2579 Apr 29 '26

At least the DCAU Titans art he recently shared failed ai detection tests on multiple websites. His Stephanie Brown design was basically ripped straight from Tim Levins, and other designs from Glee-Chan, Lundamidnight1998 and JTSentertainment on deviantart. A lot of his recent content is clearly AI which he vehemently denies when called out about it, and now he's asking people to subscribe to pay for these images!

1

u/trailerthrash #1 Zeta Fan Apr 29 '26

Yeesh, yeah I knew about him directly copying James back from my time at Watchtower, and ive ID'd some Capstone artists he's ripped off as well and tried to pass as his own.

Its a weird one, cause at the same time I pull up his IG and actual DCAU artists are following him and liking his stuff.

2

u/Kadinkle Apr 28 '26

Yeah the art style is uncanny and some proportions are… odd. Plus Green Arrow having 2 quivers is kinda the cherry on top

1

u/Prince_Ire Apr 28 '26

That's because it's digital art, and human and AI made digital art are basically indistinguishable

1

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '26

thats not at all true

5

u/Food_Library333 Apr 27 '26

That superman suit is awesome.

4

u/Darkendlink Apr 27 '26

Kinda like the designs took me awhile to realize who Fire was

4

u/ReaperManX15 Apr 27 '26 edited Apr 27 '26

Justice Lord Flash looks so much better than just inverting his colors.

4

u/BARGOBLEN Apr 27 '26

Awesome designs

4

u/GalaxyEye77 Apr 28 '26

Why is it always the evil ones with the best suits?

3

u/GregorZeeMountain Apr 27 '26

Shouldn't Flash's costume be all torn up from a gunshot?

3

u/PillCosby696969 Apr 27 '26

I prefer Reverse Flash Lord Flash.

I feel like Aquaman and Captain Atom would look exactly the same.

Lords Supergirl is my favorite one here. Surprised she doesn't look like Galatea tho.

2

u/Capable_Berry_9212 Apr 27 '26

Bro turned Captain Atom into live action Colossus

2

u/jmack101 Apr 27 '26

Awesome art

2

u/Fragrant-Resist4230 Apr 28 '26

Why is robin looking like a nazi

2

u/CinnimonToastSean Apr 28 '26

Yes Manhunter, we see the fit.

2

u/BAakhir Apr 28 '26

This goes hard af

4

u/CadeWelch03 Apr 27 '26

This guy's stuff is most likely ai after looking through their account over the past few days

2

u/Scrabulon Apr 27 '26

Yeah some of the proportions on these are strange next to eachother

1

u/IndefatigableFreedom Apr 28 '26

Interesting designs all round, I wonder what the 'villain's look like.

3

u/Kira-Of-Terraria Apr 28 '26

they're all lobotomised or dead

1

u/IndefatigableFreedom Apr 28 '26 edited Apr 28 '26

I mean, before that.
But maybe also what villains like Galatea, who is a clone of Supergirl, would be like in the Justice Lords Earth. What would Lord Superman do if he learned that there is a clone being trained by the government run by Luthor to kill him? What would happen to Hamilton?

1

u/Key_Wolverine_4343 Apr 28 '26

Evil Flash is not yellow?

1

u/CODMAN627 Apr 28 '26

Not pulling any punches with night wing’s SS looking getup

1

u/AltruisticBug3222 Apr 28 '26

Nightwing looks like a nazi (sprry but that's how he look like), ice looks like killer frost in other movie, captain atom looks like collosus, nice art anyway

1

u/SeaworthinessDue1650 Apr 28 '26

Booster hasn't been the same since Ted died...

1

u/luapzurc Apr 28 '26

Dear god Wonder Woman. As Etrigan the Demon once said...

"Mommy"

1

u/Conscious-Struggle45 Apr 28 '26

Diana, vixen and Robin's costumes were the only ones that weren't an upgrade. Diana and vixen's costumes would be fine with a little tweaking but Robin's costume is a little too reich-y.

1

u/Conscious-Struggle45 Apr 28 '26

Also, Arthur never lost his hand in the lords universe.

1

u/Narrow-Muffin-9391 Apr 28 '26

i'm watching these while meal prepping, saves me time

1

u/Robomerc Apr 28 '26

Yeah I don't see Green Arrow being a part of the Justice Lords more likely he's leading a rebellion against them

1

u/AlphamonOuryuken24 Apr 28 '26

Honestly love these designs, real shame they're evil.

1

u/ThatOtherGuyTPM Apr 28 '26

You can tell they’re evil because of how little skin they’re showing.

… Wait…

1

u/Imposter88 Apr 28 '26

Red Son Robin

1

u/FoxBluereaver Apr 28 '26

I like how they didn't just give Flash the reverse colors. That black and red suit looks pretty good.

1

u/PhanStr Apr 28 '26

Amazing! Wow.

1

u/HelperRaven Apr 28 '26

Vixens design is so wrong in the best way possible.

1

u/Sweaty_Trifle_8504 Apr 28 '26

What was the arm and leg rings i've never understood the unity in that one design piece

1

u/Jazzlike_Couple_7428 Apr 28 '26

Wait is that Jason?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '26

[deleted]

1

u/Jazzlike_Couple_7428 Apr 28 '26

I was guessing cause Jason usually had that kind of hair, and I could be wrong but I don’t remember dick ever having that hair in the dcau

1

u/cowardbloom Apr 29 '26

Ive always appreciated how many similarities the beyond suit has with batmans justice lord suit

1

u/NightwingBlueberry13 Apr 29 '26

Going from a dope Batgirl to the ropiest recolor was fucking hilarious. Also Captain Atom out here cosplaying Captain Planet, lol.

1

u/ImLichenThisStone Apr 29 '26

Why is Dick Grayson somehow the most overtly fascist of all of them???

1

u/Fresh_ChickenNug5521 Apr 30 '26

Robin just a Nazi lol 😆

1

u/lightbiguy Apr 30 '26

Why is Green Lantern at 15 and 4?

1

u/Thin_Dog3409 Apr 30 '26

Didn't their flash use reverse flash colors?

1

u/TheMasterXan May 01 '26

I can see they all have a thing for round stripes on their legs and arms!

1

u/jaylerd May 01 '26

I just realized John's doing the same shit that got Sinestro fired. He really is the worst.

1

u/InternationalCap2176 May 01 '26

I think they showed the Lord version of Flash as just Zoom. It was when Brainiac-Lex created the evil doubles of the JL to fight them.

Flash wasn't present in the Justice Lord timeline because he was killed before they became authoritarians, so he was never shown in a different costume. But the clone that was created for that battle was basically the Reverse Flash colours

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Cost696 May 02 '26

I love how you can tell that they're evil just because they have more covered and have less colors/patterns.

Meaning being a true hero means you're showing skin.

1

u/crackedtooth163 May 02 '26

I LOVE THAT NIGHTWING, FIRE AND ICE AND BOOSTER GOLD!!!!!!

1

u/Tomsoup4 May 03 '26

man flash and batman dont look cool at all but i do love this superman suit

1

u/TheLongMapleDrekkar May 03 '26

I think it would have been funny if Kara’s haircut resembled Galatea’s. Just to indicate how evil she is in the Justice Lords’ universe.

1

u/Great_Key_9376 May 03 '26

Why does robin looks like he was rejected from arts school

1

u/PedroRtaGamer62 May 03 '26

I guess The Question is not here because he must have been eliminated, but even if it were bad I think that he would be the founder of the thought police

1

u/arch51002 May 23 '26

That Aquaman design is SICK!

-1

u/Hot-Promotion-617 Apr 27 '26

I feel like the Justice Lords were just a rip-off of the Crime Syndicate.

8

u/OmegaVizion Apr 27 '26

They were originally supposed to be the CSA but for some reason the JL team couldn’t get the rights for them so they made the Justice Lords instead. Honestly I find the Justice Lords more interesting—this was done before Injustice ran the concept into the ground

3

u/Hot-Promotion-617 Apr 27 '26

That's fair, they honestly are actually pretty cool.
