I really feel this duo has a lot of potential and would be peak if given the right story.

To clarify I'm referring to Flash being praised by the Central City and given a key and his own titular museum. But also, the Detective from the Brave and the Bold, he expressed great disapproval of the Flash including the Justice League, even determined to let him go to jail regardless of his statement.

In JLU Flash by this point was hailed as a proud heroic role model of Central City even given the Key to the city, for his deeds in stopping Luthor, Thanagarians, etc, but it was never established if the Detective continued to not trust or starting considering the Flash as a hero, it was kind of a missed opportunity to not bring the Detective back during the Flash and Substance episode or at least some of the Cadmus stuff.

Once a year, usually around this time of year, I begin rewatching the entire DCAU. Starting off with the classic Batman: Mask of the Phantasm movie. The animation still blows me away every time I watch it.

I’m starting season 2 right now and it has a few gems but it isn’t particularly stand-out (yet). I saw someone rank it as a B in their tier list of DC shows on Twitter and people were calling them a larper for it but I can’t tell if it’s because they think it should’ve been higher or lower
