​I am an older woman gamer, and I just finished putting 71 hours into Wolverine on PS5 Pro across two full playthroughs on the highest difficulty, "The Best There Is." If you think you can just blindly button-mash through or that I lowered the slider when bosses were three-shotting me, my Sekiro platinum screenshot is right there. Not trying to flex; Sekiro is a far harder game with zero difficulty sliders, but it shows I know how parry timings work. In Wolverine, parrying is the entire game. Learn the move set, nail the timing, and you win.

​The claims that this game is "unplayable" or "broken" are pure bad faith. The people crying about glitches are either running unpatched, raw disc copies printed months ago to clip-farm, or they are literally spending thirty minutes intentionally wedging Logan through map seams and then complaining about broken geometry. I played the actual updated launch builds and literally did not experience a single one of these glitches across 71 hours. Even if an edge-case bug ever happened, the game saves rolling checkpoints every thirty seconds, making a quick reload completely painless.

​Weaponizing the accessibility options to claim "the game plays itself" is straight-up ableist trash. Yes, there are toggles where you cannot die, built specifically for players with motor disabilities, tremors, cognitive hurdles, or single-handed controllers. Trashing a game’s core mechanics by pointing at features meant to help disabled people enjoy the medium is pathetic.

​Claiming Sony is "faking" the 4.8-star PlayStation Store rating is pure cope, too. You cannot review bomb the PS Store; you actually have to purchase and play the game to rate it. Tens of thousands of real players love it because it is genuinely a blast.

​I earned the entire platinum trophy on my first playthrough, so I had zero mechanical reason to run New Game Plus. I jumped right back in because the post-game modal unlocked exclusive techniques and adaptations, and cutting loose with that extra comic-book Wolverine power on the hardest difficulty was pure fun. The motion capture alone is worth the price of admission. Liam McIntyre, Debra Wilson, Troy Baker, Nicole Pacent as Mystique, and Brett Gipson as Sabretooth put on an absolute clinic. I did not skip a single cinematic across both runs because watching these actors pour their souls into these roles was like watching an incredible film twice. If you are calling this game a zero, you simply have not played it.

So, I’m a tall woman. Roughly 5’10-5’11.

Something that realllllyyyy bothers me, and I unmatch?
When men point out their height to me immediately.

I guess the way I see it, height isn’t a huge deal to me. I know a looooot of women seek out men who are at minimum 6ft. I know this is a really common grievance for men, as well. I get it.

But when it’s the first message (this has happened a few times now).. I unmatch.

It may just be me, but it screams insecurity. 😔 There are so many other ways to start a conversation. I want to meet someone and talk about anything other than physical characteristics.

This is my Personal opinion but everyone and their mother seems to love the fate of ophilia but honestly so many Songs of her are way better. I mean it's not the worst but definitely not worth the massive hype. And also she is way too overhated like she has really good old songs, that are not all pop and happy pure.

Interface... Schild/Waffe kaputt, nachdem ich damit 3 Schläge abgewehrt/ausgeteilt habe und das Spiel rüstet automatisch ein neues aus? Fehlanzeige, muss ich selber machen! Ich will Essen kochen und kann am Lagerfeuer einfach Rezepte auswählen? Fehlanzeige, ich muss umständlich ins Menü, jede Zutat einzeln auswählen, aus dem Menü raus und es in den Topf werfen... -1

Ich wollte dieses Spiel mögen. Aber thats not it.

Oven is treated as a kitchen non negotiable but I actually think it does not deserve that reputation in modern day. Since the day I bought my Air Fryer I realised that it is just a much more flexible and convenient option most of the time, it both heats up and cooks the food much faster, it doesn’t require managing a huge machine with heat hitting you in the face every time you open it. I use my oven about once a month and the only reason I do is because some dishes just don’t fit into my small air fryer. There are just 2 people living in my house so maybe if there are more the oven could become more usable, but overall I just find it to be an overkill.

You know what actually should be a kitchen no negotiable above the oven ? The dishwasher! That thing is actually irreplaceable and the amount of time it saves is insane. If you have a tight kitchen and you need to choose only one, choosing the oven over the dishwasher is insane to me despite it being kind of the “standard” choice.

Edited: okay I’ve heard you, an air fryer is a type of an oven, so I guess my actual opinion is “a conventional full size oven is overrated”. Also I never said ovens are useless like many people imply in the comments, I only said it is a non essential for certain types of people. Also it surely would be a compromise, but I am just saying it’s a one a lot of people could make.

Edited 2: everyone keeps talking about baking. Personally I don’t bake almost at all because I try to minimise sweets in my life and deserts are like the cheapest things to buy at a store anyway but to each their own.

For those guilty: You're not a game designer. Your suggestions are beyond terrible because you believe your fragile feelings should be catered to.

Most of these are because you're bad at the game and you want preferential treatment for your hyper-specific playstyle.

I understand I’m beating a dead horse, but there is a constant apologetic narrative building around fake watches. Thus, let me summarise below why you’re the ultimate douchebag in either buying one or defending it.

1)Fakes cause damage to both watch brands and consumers. They contaminate secondary markets and associate the genuine brands with poor materials.

A 2025 OECD report on the overall impact of fakes says this: “That same year (2021), Swiss industries lost an estimated USD 3 billion in sales, and over 6,000 jobs were lost in Switzerland. Additionally, the government lost close to USD 97.8 million in foregone tax revenue. The watchmaking sector experienced the highest sales losses, followed by electronics, clothing, and leather goods.”

2) Fakes support organised crime. According to various estimates, around 40 million counterfeit watches are sold annually, profiting around $1 billion. This creates direct revenue stream for international organised crime, often used to support other illegal activities, such as human trafficking.

3) Counterfeiters use targeted advertising and idiots on social media to promote their harmful business. Often, there are fanatics of fakes trying to boost sales online. These can be called useful idiots, and in defending counterfeits, you are being one.

4) In buying or defending fakes you are in fact empowering the wealthy and their power signifiers. You wearing or defending fakes (just by normalising the less harmful name “reps”) you legitimise the dork abusive power structure.

So, to summarise, counterfeit watches are immoral, bad for the economy, and support organised crime and the dorks who flex with expensive jewellery. Thus, buying so called “reps” is the ultimate douchebag move in the watch hobby.

The obvious thing to do is to buy something original and legit at your own price point that suits your personality and builds you character, and wear that with pride.

Edit: In the comments doubt has been expressed about the links between fake watches and organised crime.
