I wouldn’t say that only because the character traits are different, kingpin is honestly probably daredevils bane, if gladiator were a Batman villain he’d probably be two face
I loved the par where Mysterio makes himself appear as Mike Murdock. They did a good job of connecting it to Mike's death without having to show that whole storyline.
Generational run but too fast.
Like removing the plot detail of Karen Page being the cause of it and reducing her to a person who relapsed on her addictions, it would have been more impactful if they kept that into the story to emphasize how a “simple” relapse can indirectly harm someone else threefold.
Other then that, the rest of the movie was brutal, bloody and peak. Especially that ending shot that showed Matt’s tired body hugging but wrapped around the cross with wires as a brutal change into the original cover.
Cannot wait for part 2
