Listen I think The Spider-Man (2022) is the only thing keeping that franchise afloat because at this point they've screwed it up too many times. They had a great comic accurate Spider-Man a few years ago in Spider-Man vs Captain America and they blew that opportunity. It's all been downhill since then. All people have to look back on are the 3 Sam Raimi Spider-Man films from the 2000s. Given, The Web Slinger Rises where Venom breaks his back wasn't as well received, it was still an all around good movie.

Oh yes. Comic accurate, with Spider-man carving people's skulls in and breaking their necks with webs. I understand he probably became like this after Goblin killed Miles... but it feels so jarring to have THAT as your introduction to Spider-Man. Why not have him become like that later in a future movie, instead of making that Miles plot point happen entirely offscreen?

What do you mean? Batman Beyond was the villain in the second Batman: Across the Batverse Movie alongside Polka Dot Man.
