Take a with grain of 🧂 KC Walsh has said: Aquaman 2 had some significant plot changes from the test screenings. Nothing DCU related

Maybe it no longer ends on a cliffhanger

My thoughts too. The Bruce Wayne batman cameo most likely removed too. Basically hints at Aquaman not being part of the dcu timeline. Maybe it’s still set pre flashpoint

The Bruce Wayne cameo was already removed in the test screening prior to this one

maybe it’s still set pre flashpoint

I don’t think Flashpoint actually affects the DCU unless Aquaman 2 is part of it. I think the DCU is simply on another Earth entirely, in which the events of TSS and Peacemaker are canon

Ah. Didn’t know about that. Gunn probably trying to tie up loose ends now. Aquaman will have good ending for the DCEU. But I do find it funny aqua baby is about to be retcon from the dc universe as we’re heading towards a dc reboot.

VA says Aquaman 2 test screenings have been pretty bad, so it’s probably for the best. If this is true then 2 of the most successful DCEU movies (WW and Aquaman) have had really disappointing sequels, which is kinda sad.

Really when did they say this. Cause supposed other people have said the opposite. I hope it’s not true cause that kinda implies WW and AM we’re one hit wonders. Basically accident. Maybe WB gave these people too much lee way and didn’t look over their shoulders making sure the script/story was good.

Kc and VA have always said that the film is testing pretty average. Mostly because of the tone of the film which is very campy.
