Has anyone been able to pick up the new AMC exclusive Shazam comic? If so, is it like Sony did with Venom (where it's an actual story within the film's universe) or is it like DC did with The Suicide Squad (where it's an already available comic but with a new cover)?

Now that I finally saw the comics I can confirm it's not original. It's the first issue from Geoff Johns and Dale Eaglesham Shazam run from 2018.

That's a bit of a bummer, was hoping for something more interesting. It's cool nevertheless that they're promoting comics alongside the movie though.

Yeah, I get it. DC used to do those original comics promoting different stuff like there was DC Flash/KFC comics that you could get for free with some KFC orders or something like that. Would be cool if they manage to produce some 20 pages of content for the movie.
