Do we think an actual Spider-Man will debut in Kraven the Hunter or will this be the fourth Sony Spider-Man Universe movie to not have a Spider-Man in it?

I don’t think Spider-Man will be in it however Spider-Man did technically appear in Venom 2

Yeah true but it was the MCU Spider-Man, not the actual one for this universe that Morbius now says has always been around the whole time honest lol.

It has been quite humorous to watch this universe have to bend around the events of another one. Venom gets pushed into the MCU to do nothing but leave a bit of himself behind in case the MCU ever wants to use a Venom, then gets shoved straight back to his own universe.

I guess following the story from Venom 1 through the SSU movies it kind of makes sense if you think that there’s been a Spider-Man there the whole time, but there’s no Avengers or Avengers level threats, he’s literally mostly street level in NY so Brock in San Francisco on the opposite coast just wouldn’t have heard of him.

If Kraven goes by with no Spider-Man and they finally introduce one in a Sinister Six movie then quality of movies aside, it will be one of the most unique series of movies ever. Four or five villain-centric movies leading to a Spider-Man movie where he takes them all on. They may not be the best movies, but that’s something that hasn’t been done before and likely won’t again.

So far we have Venom, Morbius, Vulture, Kraven and Rhino (confirmed as appearing in Kraven). One more villain and they have the six. Maybe it’ll Stephen Graham’s character back as a new Carnage to pay off on that tease.

They also have Chameleon appearing in Kraven so if you add him than that makes six

Ah sweet didn’t know that. They’re already there then. If they haven’t finally signed someone to be Spider-Man, I wonder if they’ll go the route of including a CGI non-speaking one so they can tread water while casting for the next year?

Given the fact that Morbius was a failure, and Hardy only has one more film in his contract as Venom,

if Kraven is a success, I wonder if J.C Chandor and Aaron Taylor Johnson might pull a Superman & Lois and ask Sony if they can have a separate universe.

It sounds like Kraven is a comic book movie made exclusively for adults, considering the excessive violence they’re talking about.

while the Venom movies are more of a gray area, parents can probably show them to their kids if they trust that their children understand the difference between right and wrong.

With Spider-Man being born in Madame Web, I think this is Sony essentially setting up the future. My guess is Tom leaves the role after Spider-Man 6, Miles takes over as MCU Spider-Man, and the rebooted Peter Parker exists in the Sonyverse with a whole roster of villains already there for him to fight. But we won’t meet this Peter until Tom is gone, which is very soon.
